My compliment is for Quinton in Customer Service...not at the store.
After shopping at the Columbus location, I had to return a pair of shoes that were too tight, I noticed their ad for SHOE PERKS and inquired about it. The cashier pulled out a Membership Enrollment card and told me a little about it. I put it in my purse and continued with the transaction.
When I get home I try to enroll the card and their system tells me the card number is invalid. So I call the number provided and speak with Quinton who enters all the info for me. Upon doing so, he noticed my info had already been added under a different card number. He stated the store already set me up, but there were no purchases. I told him I'd purchased $200 in shoes and should have some points on that account already.
After looking at my receipt, I noticed a perks number at the top. I read them off to him and he confirmed that was the number registered. I was a bit pissed at that point because the initial cashier never mentioned anything about their perks program and took it upon herself to add it without my permission, but the points were missing.
Quinton quickly resolved the situation by adding the $ amount I'd spent, the points I should've received PLUS an additional 50 points for new members.
Although disappointed in how the store handled this rewards thing, Quinton helped to satisfy my angst by realizing and correcting the problem. read more
