Great service and the employee (male) was knowledgable and kind. Did not try and over sale. Great Yelp find!

What a beautiful salon!!! I came here wedding dress shopping with my family and loved this little…read moreboutique. Special thanks to Abigal for being really awesome. She was so sweet and helpful and let me vent about my frustrations with wedding stuff. She was my favorite of all the bridal assistants I had met. I didn't find my dress but will be coming back in Sept when shops get new lines in. (I have a year and a half:) The dresses were gorgeous!!! They have a rack with your name written on a cute chalkboard and a cool runway for you to stand on to show off your dress. It's surrounded by mirrors so you can see all angles of the gown. They had a decent selection though no bridesmaid dresses. The gowns were more elegant than simple. Think lots of beading, sparkly , detailed gowns. No plain , simple dresses. So know going in if that's what you are looking for...you won't find that here. This is for you glamour girls or ones wanting to make more of a statement than be modest or classic. Ask for Abigail if you make an appt here. She's great!

This was the second dress stop that I stopped in for wedding dress shopping. The first store was…read moreout of town so this was my first experience dress shopping in my beloved city of Columbus. Their selection was wonderful. Their staff are outstanding and know every detail about the designers, fit, fabrics, etc. The store itself has a wonderful location. It is clean and organized and isn't overwhelming upon first site as you walk in. I not only found my dress at this amazing shop, but it was a discontinued dress that was offered at a discounted price, making it fall within my tight budget constraints. Lastly, I love that I found my dress at a small business store. I love shopping at small/local businesses so it really worked out that I found my dress here! Do yourself a favor and make an appointment to dress shop with the best, Uptown Gowns!

If I could give zero stars I would. I went for some alterations one month ahead of time. I told her…read moreI needed everything done by August 1st bc the following wkend I would be going out of town for a family event. The alterations were $130 and I paid her half on the same day I took them. I called on August 1st and she told me they were not ready bc her machine broke but she would have them ready the next day and she would give me a call. She never called. I called this morning she did not answer so I left a message still no reply so I called this evening just for her to tell me my stuff still was not ready. She stated the only thing she had ready was one outfit but keep in my mind we discussed the price for each piece of clothing and the outfit did not equal $65 when we discussed the prices. So asked her could she just give me a discount for the inconvenience and she said no. The only thing she would do is give me the outfit that she fixed and give me back the others ones she did not fix but the outfit she fixed was not $65. She is money hungry and very unprofessional i will never patronize with her again. I know she overcharged me to begin with but she was the only one I could find at the time. They always try to get over on black ppl. When I first walked in the first thing she said was its gonna be expensive as if I didnt have money. I should have known then. If ur black please dont go there

Alteration done was very professionally done. Nice lady who runs her own shoppe. But promising an…read moreitem at X time and it's not actually ready until two days later ... that part is not cool.

Columbus does not offer much in the way of unique boutiques - most of the shopping are chain…read moredepartment stores that you can find in every city - which is why I love Pursona. This adorable little store front, located in the Brandly Park shopping center, has a great selection of purses and shoes. Although, I've got to be honest, I've never purchased their shoes - never found any show stoppers. With that said, I think their specialty is purses for sure. I have purchased my last 3 purses from Pursona, and every time I'm in town I make the stop to see their selection. I especially love how they don't carry mass quantities of the same styles, making you feel like you own a one of a kind. I give this store an A++ for style, accessibility, and girly-ness

I should have known how this visit would unfold when I saw the "handwritten sign" notifying patrons of the store hours and mannequins in the window dressed with items the store doesn't sell. The last time I visited I was told they had been painting and weren't officially open. So my question today is, "Why is it so hard to keep an 8.5-9 shoe size?" The saleswoman had the nerve to tell me that the shoe I requested had been restocked but she only had "small" sizes available. I'll continue ordering my Free People shoes online. Forget about supporting local businesses. I was greeted and asked if I was looking for anything in particular (which I was) and she pointed me in the direction I was already in. She was NO help in her pink dress and sneakers (you'll remain anonymous). Here's my opinion, when women such as myself are shopping for "flats" and you're a contemporary woman, no one wants a kitten heel. My late grandmother would have loved them. RIP I have decided that yesterday was my last visit especially when I've been supporting this establishment since its inception. I'm honestly quite disappointed and wish someone would open a quality shoe store in Columbus, GA with outstanding customer service. Their website isn't even updated.
