If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I walked in this afternoon and was immediately greeted with the most sweetest "Hello! Welcome to Starship" I made my way around the store and someone came right to my assistance. I did not even have to look around, the gentleman was so helpful and picked out exactly what I needed and also did not judge me one bit. The sweet beautiful lady at the counter was working on some paperwork it looked like and she then immediately made her way to the register and rung up my items. She was so genuine and sweet that I pointed out to her how sweet everyone was to me. I hope to see starship and their wonderful employees grow and prosper. I absolutely love the staff at this Starship location. They go above and beyond to help and make sure customers are well taken care of. They have become almost like family to me. Pat, Tara, Kiki, Michael, KK, Sheree and John are incredible. They remember customers by name and treat us like friends not just customers. I have shopped at this store periodically for many years. Have always rec'd great service, including consults with the owner/manager about products, recommendations, etc. I shopped there today, for something i had previously ordered online, from an entirely different company. The manager helped me find the product that i really needed ASAP, that i didn't even realize this store carried. I had bought the same product online, paid twice as much online, with very little support or guidance from the manufacturer's site; was so pleased to not only find that Starship had the exact same product, but for significantly less $. If i'd looked at Starship first, I'd have saved over $150, and not had to wait days for delivery of the product i needed asap, to be able to prepare for an upcoming exam. I will ALWAYS support this shop, even though the products i use are only a tiny fraction of all the items they sell. Thank You, Starship! read more

The folks in there are at least friendly. Not necessarily "helpful" but they give you privacy and are there when you need them. They don't sell cigars anymore which is a bit of a bummer, but Sweetbriar in the Landings is the most legit place around for that anyway. Lots o porn. Lots o dildos. Lots o lube. Not a legit selection of pipes and waterpipes, but the best I've seen in Columbus. I usually end up here when I'm bored at 2am. read more

I travel internationally ALOT & sometimes only carry my passport as form of ID. I went to this starship with a friend & we are well over 18 yrs of age. The clerk asked for our IDs I showed my passport & was told that my passport issued by the FEDERAL government of the United States was not a valid form of ID as opposed to a state issued license. Are you freaking kidding me?? If there was a hierarchy for IDs passport would be considered king; its the most valid form of ID you can possibly obtain! I told the clerk that's the only form of ID I have on me & they still didn't accept it. I was planning on spending about $200-300 there but since denied took our business elsewhere. I called the next day to speak to the manager about the issue & they seemed shocked that the clerk would not accept my passport. The manager had a very feminine sounding voice so I figured they were female. They told me they would pull the tapes & watched what happened. Then a few months later decided to try & go to this place again. I happened to have my state issued license with me so I used that & was allowed to look around. Upon checking out with a $500 purchase I began to ask about their ID policy. I described my last experience & a female employee who wasn't even my cashier jumped in on the conversation. She rudely cut me off & said that a passport is not a valid form of ID. Then proceeded to raise her voice & argue with me, a customer. I was stating facts about how a passport trumphs all other forms of ID. I even explained how the female manager seemed shocked when I called & spoke to her about it the next day. The lady employee who was raising her voice at me then mocked me & said she knows I'm lying because they do not have a female manager. At that point I simply cancelled my purchase & walked out. I will never visit this establishment again, which is their loss because as you can see from above I would have dropped a few hundred on merchandise as a customer. If a business can't even acknowledge a federally issued ID as a valid form of ID then they shouldn't be in business to begin with!!! If looking for a good place to go instead of here try Links off Veterans or Pleasure World. Never had a problem at either one of those places! Also doesn't allow you to use a card if same last name & an authorized user of the card. So if married or family and officially listed as an authorized user of the card by the bank they don't care! Disgusted by how poor the store runs. The Store Manager talks Ill of her staff to customers and lies to sell you a product I.e. saying it's brand new and the product is obviously used. Then let's add the fact this 18+ is allowing UNDERAGE children in their store. Disgusted with them and no longer receiving my business read more

My friend & I recently your store & usually the experience is satisfying. Not this particular visit. It was a week night, around 11 p.m. There were 2 sales associates working, though I use the term "working" loosely. Neither of them greeted us nor offered any assistance other than follow us through the store, hovering as if we may steal something. 1 clerk kept complaining loudly how tired she was & ready to go. I interrupted her to ask if they had nuru oil. She snapped back, "NO!" and continued her rant. As we were checking out, we casually glanced at the samples of oils lined up on counter. My Friend asked me what a certain sample was for & before I could answer, rude girl loudly announced "It's anal lube!" very embarrassing. He then inquried about the price of the stripper poles & she told him to go look at it and see. They could have made 2 more sales had they put forth just a little effort. read more
