Yesterday was my second time visiting within a two-month timeframe and needless to say, I left again without making a single purchase when I purchased my favorite pair of flats (Adrienne Vittadini) from there years ago. I should have known how this visit would unfold when I saw the "handwritten sign" notifying patrons of the store hours and mannequins in the window dressed with items the store doesn't sell. The last time I visited I was told they had been painting and weren't officially open. So my question today is, "Why is it so hard to keep an 8.5-9 shoe size?" The saleswoman had the nerve to tell me that the shoe I requested had been restocked but she only had "small" sizes available. I'll continue ordering my Free People shoes online. Forget about supporting local businesses. I was greeted and asked if I was looking for anything in particular (which I was) and she pointed me in the direction I was already in. She was NO help in her pink dress and sneakers (you'll remain anonymous). Here's my opinion, when women such as myself are shopping for "flats" and you're a contemporary woman, no one wants a kitten heel. My late grandmother would have loved them. RIP I have decided that yesterday was my last visit especially when I've been supporting this establishment since its inception. I'm honestly quite disappointed and wish someone would open a quality shoe store in Columbus, GA with outstanding customer service. Their website isn't even updated. read more

Buyer Beware! I have been a good customer at Pursona for over 14 years. I recently purchased a pair of boots on November 3, 2022. The seam began to come apart and the heel had a clicking sound when I wore them for the first time on the afternoon of November 4. I contacted the owner Ansley the next morning, November 5. I told Ansley the new owner my issue. I took them back on November 8, 2023 and they didn't have my size, so she ordered me new pair. When the new pair came, I tried them on at home on the carpet; since the boot was new. After three steps I noticed that they still had the clicking sound. It's obvious there's and issue with the boot. It's definitely defective. I contacted the store immediately on Saturday and Ansley called me back on the following Monday evening and said that because it was a special order and final sale nothing could be done. I paid $160 for the defective boots. I said "okay and I won't be shopping with you again". And the owner Ansley said "Thanks". (basically, oh well....) I felt this was very rude and poor customer service. As a new young business owner, she has a lot to learn. read more

Extremely cute shoe boutique but never any unique shoes that I cannot find elsewhere...normally at a lower price point too. I really want to love this store but can't because if they happen to have a cute shoe I'd consider buying they never have my size (10). Shoe boutiques should have a few select unique-eye-catching shoes that "I have to have" my suggestion would be for Pursona to meet Oakwood Drive (OD) and carry a few seasonal shoes like OD to spice up the selection. read more

We absolutely LOVE this unique shoe boutique! My 14 yr old fashionista & I always find shoes that are not only stylish, but comfortable too. We get compliments on our shoes from Pursona and asked where they were purchased every time we wear them. And then there's their customer service. I can not say enough about the owner and all of the girls that work there. I'm a small business owner myself so I know how important customer service is. Pursona has excellent customer service! Horrible customer service. I drove to Columbus from Valley, AL to return exchange my boots by the deadline only to find the store closed after trying to call and look up store hours on the website. (Phone recording didnt work and website had no store hours posted) So I sent an email on Monday telling them I was missing the exchange deadline due personal issues and working could I please extend it THREE days until I could get there to exchange the boots because they were UNCOMFORTABLE. The Manger of this store send me an email stating NO SORRY!!!! you should have looked in the box and see you only had a limited amount of time. Try using a GEL PAD!!! Well hello a pad will not work on the ankle band!!!!! I am really disappointed due to paying $119.00 for these shoes. FIRST and LAST purchase!!! read more

I have been shopping at Pursona since 2010. Angie (the store owner) and her girls are amazing. They are very respectful and are ready to assist with anything. Angie always brings unique styles to the store and also has a look book for clients in order to make suggestions of what the store should buy. I have never had a bad experience with this store. Columbus does not offer much in the way of unique boutiques - most of the shopping are chain department stores that you can find in every city - which is why I love Pursona. This adorable little store front, located in the Brandly Park shopping center, has a great selection of purses and shoes. Although, I've got to be honest, I've never purchased their shoes - never found any show stoppers. With that said, I think their specialty is purses for sure. I have purchased my last 3 purses from Pursona, and every time I'm in town I make the stop to see their selection. Pursona is a great shoe and accessories boutique located in Columbus, GA. I love the selection and they have a great price point! I can never walk out of there without finding something that I love!! I even saw a pair of Sam Edelman heels that were cheaper than the price tag at the department store. I also needed help finding a pair of shoes to wear to a wedding and they helped me put together my entire outfit! Talk about customer service! I received so many compliments that weekend!
