I have never been so disrespected by someone who truly feels that their title as office manager with blue hair and incredibly shitty attitude is above all else. You are a glorified assistant. I'm disgusted and truly wonder if this dentist and office has taken advantage of numerous patients. Disgusting. Be professional and at least LOOK professional.

MAH Horrible experience…read more I would like to preface this by stating that I have previously had a very positive opinion of Dr. Cohrs personally. I firmly believe his bedside manner, attention to detail, and dental work are truly impeccable, and I appreciated his clinical care during my previous visits over the years. During my most recent visit though, things had changed. I was told by the hygienist, Lyndi, that a panoramic X-ray was "required by law" to maintain their license, with implied risk if refused. No such Michigan law exists--regulations cover equipment safety only, not mandating patient imaging (per LARA-Licensing and Regulatory Affairs and Michigan Dental Association). My low-risk profile (excellent hygiene, no cavities in years, healthy gums, recent normal bitewings) showed no clinical need. ADA 2026 guidelines require panoramic only when necessary, to minimize radiation, not routinely. When I raised the issue feeling misled about Timberview losing their license, the hygienist called in the office manager who was beyond rude, defensive, interrupted repeatedly by obscuring and pivoting to "our standard of care," then asked my opinion of their standard. I said it felt revenue-driven rather than evidence-based. She immediately told me to leave. This was gaslighting: obscuring the obvious falsehood with vague "patient care standards" and punishing honest feedback with abrupt dismissal. Deceptive communication and unprofessional handling erode trust. Patients deserve transparency, not pressure and deflection. Unfortunately the unprofessional conduct of the office manager--particularly her repeated interruptions, twisting of the initial misleading statement, dismissive attitude, and abrupt decision to ask me to leave after I shared my honest opinion--has eroded my trust in the practice as a whole. Despite my high regard for Dr. Cohrs' skills and care, this experience will unfortunately prevent me from returning. Perhaps the business/name change to Timberview Dental has caused the business to now become profit driven over patient care driven. Be VERY careful about agreeing to unnecessary procedures that are lining their pockets.

I was a bit nervous since I hadn't seen a dentist in 2 years but everyone was kind, compassionate, and kept me informed throughout the visit. Pam was thorough but gentle and frequently checked in with me to make sure I was doing ok. They don't rush. They get to know you. They truly care about the health of your mouth and teeth (as well as your comfort). They also listen to you and take your opinions/experiences into consideration. For example, after switching from an expensive, hard nighttime mouth guard (that I found very uncomfortable) to an OTC soft one several years ago, I had two past dentists tell me that the soft ones are virtually useless. Dr. Sarantos told me to keep using it if it's working for me. Finally, they respect your financial situation and don't guilt trip or push services at you-they advise and educate and then leave it up to you. Very impressed!

Dr. Ellard prescribed antibiotics which didn't ultimately work. He had been following up with me personally by phone and text through that weekend (including Sunday!). As we talked, he determined that I would need an extraction and he immediately made calls to his staff members and rounded up the crew needed to do the emergency extraction the following day. A day when they were closed due to the corona virus mandatory shut down. We determined also that an implant would be the best fix for the problem in the long run and he was able to do all the other procedures needed to start that process also. (Ct scan etc.). The insurance benefits were handled and the work on my mouth got done. I can't express how lucky I felt that my dentist was able to complete all this work and create such a comprehensive plan for treatment over a weekend and during the shut down. What do other people do who's dentists can't or don't go through these measures? Mouth pain is all encompassing and hardly bearable for most! Every member of Dr Ellard's team is so knowledgeable and know exactly what to do in every instance. A well-oiled machine, always. I've been a patient here for over 10 years and so appreciate their kindness, professionalism, and abilities. Steve W.

Her compassion, patience and understanding are beyond compare! When I first met her I had put adhesive in my dentures to get a soft line. I didn't know that you weren't supposed to use that he should when you geta soft liner put in. I did not only receive the softliner, I received an education as far as Dentures were concerned. Ann smiled ( did not laugh) and kind of rolled her eyes but with empathy. And I hear she was responsible for the beautiful Christmas tree that was in the office last year. She may be short in stature, but she's a force to be reckoned with with her knowledge of Dentistry. I also had the honor and privilege of meeting Norberto! He was a great coach at putting my hard Liners in today. He's extremely knowledgeable, put you at ease and simply fantastic! All in all, a great experience at Aspen Dental.

I found his approach to be quite rough, and his comments about my existing dental work came across as very critical and judgmental, which made me feel uncomfortable during the visit. At the end of the appointment, I was referred out without much explanation, which added to my frustration. Overall, I did not feel at ease or well cared for, and I would not choose to return.

Thinking it might be dental-related, I started calling around trying to find help. Since I'm not a full-time resident in the area, I needed a practice willing to take on a new patient in an emergency situation. After several calls and multiple offices turning me away, Centre Smile Dental said, "Of course -- come in now." From the moment I walked into the Paw Paw location, I was welcomed with smiles and compassion. I filled out paperwork, had X-rays done, and before I knew it, after thorough consultation with Doctor Joseph, I had two teeth extracted due to a severe infection. People don't realize how dangerous a mouth infection can become if left untreated -- it can spread to the bloodstream or even the brain. Within 20 minutes of the extractions, I already started feeling relief. I'm incredibly appreciative that Centre Smile Dental was willing to see me on such short notice, especially right before a holiday weekend and being an out of towner. A truly great group of caring professionals. Highly recommended.

All the front desk ladies do. The hygienists and the dental assistants are absolutely amazing as well. I got over my fear of dentists and needles in my mouth because of this place and the amazing people who are employed here. I definitely recommend coming here.
