I had to return twice to have poorly done fillings corrected, and despite those additional visits, my teeth still aren't repaired properly. I now have to seek treatment from another dentist in hopes that the damage done at this office can be corrected and that my teeth were not made worse. To make matters even more frustrating, I was charged for the follow-up visits that were necessary only because the original work was not completed properly. When the office called to tell me I owed additional money, I explained that I believed that I was being wrongfully and potentially illegally charged and attempted to discuss and clarify the charges, but instead of receiving an explanation, I was hung up on. That level of customer service is unacceptable. I called the office back immediately and requested copies of my treatment records, an itemized statement of services rendered, charges submitted to my insurance, as well as any charges I supposedly owe. Despite this request, I have yet to receive the documentation. Between the poor quality dental work, unprofessional customer service, failure to provide requested records, and what appear to be questionable billing practices, I cannot recommend this office. I have also filed a complaint with my insurance company's compliance department so these issues can be investigated as they are an "in network" provider.

After Dental Dreams made my situation I sought out Dr.Liu because their ads boasted payment plans. Not only did they hold true to their word but I even needed to see Dr.Liu after hours. I've never met a dentist willing to go that extra measure. I was told that I had bone build up from years of grinding my teeth (something past dentists failed to mention). So when I had surgery yesterday I was very nervous since I had a horrible experience at Dental Dreams. Dr. Liu and the hygienists were very nice and reassuring. I was a patient of Dr. Lue for about 10 years. He placed a couple of dental implants for me and was…read moremy regular dentist for twice-yearly visits. However, after one implant was placed, the pain never completely went away. The implant was always loose and, at one point, the crown actually fell out. I made an appointment to see Dr. Lue and brought the tooth with me. He dropped it on the floor, sprayed it with something, rinsed it under water, and then put it back into my mouth. Over the years, I repeatedly complained about pain and problems with that implant. I was told it was my fault for not wearing a bite guard that would have cost hundreds of dollars, along with ongoing adjustment appointments. My husband and I eventually decided to seek a second opinion. Although I changed dentists, the pain continued. Last week, my current dentist examined the implant and told me it appeared to be failing and needed to be evaluated by an oral surgeon. The oral surgeon discovered a massive infection that had destroyed so much bone that there was only a paper-thin barrier left between the infection and my sinus cavity. The infection was so severe that both implants on that side had to be removed. I underwent surgery to remove the infection, clean out the diseased bone, and have bone grafting material and a membrane placed in an attempt to rebuild the area. Even after all of that, there is no guarantee I will ever be able to have implants placed on that side again. Dr. Lue is a nice man, but in my opinion, he cut corners and failed to properly address ongoing problems that I repeatedly brought to his attention. As a result, I have suffered years of pain, extensive bone loss, major surgery, and potentially permanent damage.

The cleaning went fine and in the course of having the X-ray it was determined that I needed to have a crown. I checked out and was given the cost estimate for the crown. we set that up for 2-1/2 weeks later, I paid the estimate and came back for the procedure. Some time after the procedure was complete they told us they did not take our insurance. This certainly would have been something to tell us before an expensive procedure. They told me it was my responsibility to check that. Technically that is true and if I had been searching out a new dentist for myself that is what I would have done. There was a bit of trust on our part that our old dentist had considered this when selling his practice, we assumed the new dentist took our insurance. It also seems to me that people whose job it is to bill patients and work in this capacity 40 hours a week should have recognized and alerted us to this fact that they didn't take our insurance. The service was fine for the hygienist and dentist but horrendous service in the front office.

I went there, they took copies of my BCBS card... no one in the office said a thing! Don't use this dentist! They will overcharge you the first chance they can get. Lobby only had old people in it... I began to watch people walk in and get called back, while I am still sitting there waiting. I waited another 30 minutes. I finally went up to the receptionist and asked if they forgot about me. She proceeds to tell me that the Dr is running behind, and I will be called back shortly. I asked her why I wasnt notified of this and given the choice to wait or reschedule. She couldn't give me an answer. I told her I was leaving and NOT rescheduling, and the office/staff are very unprofessional. I received a blank stare. My guess is while carrying on their personal conversation, I was not checked in and "Dr is running late" was an excuse. If it was an excuse, be professional and own your mistake. I have been to two locations, and both are lacking in professionalism and good customer service. I will not be recommending Aspen Dental and in fact encouraging you run.
