First time here, thoroughly enjoyed it. All was fresh. Service was 5 star as well. Happy to see surf clam on the menu :)

The $21 chef special is a great deal! 2 of us split this with an added salad and it was more than enough. It's new and seem a little low staffed (no knocking them since covid probably hit them hard). Sushi was great, zero complaints. Menu looks small but we asked for things we didn't see (like seaweed salad) and they had them. If you're not familiar with sushi it could be confusing since most rolls didn't say what's in them. read more

Not that good. Service was meh, food was meh+. We started by ordering gyoza, they arrived cold. We asked if we could substitute some thing in the lunch option, we were fine with a up-charge but we're were told no. (that is an FYI. It did not play into the 2 star rating). Everything else that we ordered was okay at best. Definitely will not be trying again. read more

Service was great up until they tried to charge my young child for a full price adult AYCE meal. The food tasted okay but the fish was sliced so thin on the sushi that it was see through and the calamari tempura came out as 3 small pieces of calamari. The portion sizes was not it and they have so many limitations on what and how many of each item that a table can order. read more

Loved my experience here, and will be back again! My server Lay was so attentive, patient, and gave such personal food recommendations! I ended up trying the amaebi, which was so sweet and delicious I recommend giving it a try! Overall great vibes, great food, and definitely recommend giving it a try. read more

My husband and I went here for an early dinner. Glad we did as the place filled up quickly! The Waitstaff followed Covid precautions. The sushi rolls we got were delicious. The service was a little slow, bit courteous and right now we make allowances because of labor shortages. read more

Had called in to place a pickup order. It was a relatively small order as I was in the area looking to head home right after. Was told it would take 25 minutes - a bit shocking, but decided to wait due to all of the good reviews. Arrived on time for pickup at the 30 minute mark (gave a 5 minute buffer). Was asked to wait another 5-10 minutes. Ended up waiting another 30 minutes (full hour now). Poor expectation management, -1 star. Tried the food at home 15 minutes later. Thought it was "ok" in comparison to many of the other sushi restaurants in the area. Not matching local industry quality, -1 star. Would I return here? Everything else was great, staff seemed super nice and easy to work with. If I was in the area and wanted a quick bite to eat, I know this is not a pragmatic option even in that scenario. Unfortunately probably not is the truthful answer because it would make me late to where I need to go. If you are in no rush and want to just sit down somewhere near you right now, may be an option to consider. read more

The quality of the fish is okay for the price being an AYCE place. I don't typically eat a lot during lunch but if we had gone during dinner time then I would've gotten a better deal for an AYCE place. The quality of the nigiri was surprisingly good. I don't trust a lot of AYCE sushi places because the quality usually isn't all that great but this spot took me by surprise. The fish on the nigiri was semi-thick and very flavorful. It tastes fresh, but I'm not entirely sure if it was fresh. Nonetheless, I would come back again if I was looking to eat a lot more quality fish. read more

My kids love sushi, me not so much. We've been to many sushi restaurants, they get all you can eat sushi, I get something ala cart... usually a noodle dish or something. They said you can't do that here, everyone has to get the all you can eat. Ruined a nice lunch we were supposed to have as a family before my daughter left for a year. Sadly it was a Sunday and Sushi Totoro was closed, we should have gone to Fontana in Smiky Hill. Here, never again. read more

AYCE but they would not serve any more food until we finish what we ordered so far. And the food we wanted was a Miso soup? The excuse we got is that they would not serve a small bowl of Miso soup since they have to charge the left over food. Thanks for worrying about extra charges we have to pay for the left over soup. The AYCE we had was their top line $42.99 for each and for 3 people with one bottle soju, coke & hot tea totaled $161. And 87 years old my mom is one of the three. I wonder how much worth she ate. I suggest you do not say AYCE if you do not let people eat as much as they want. I will never go back to that place and people who want the real AYCE should avoid this place. We stop eating right there and left. Ruined my hubby's birthday. What a day they made for me. read more

Great variety of sushi for all you can eat. The service is a bit slow because you have to order sushi from the waiter with the tablet. You can't write down your order on a piece of paper. Overall the sushi was fresh and it was a great experience. read more

If I could rate this place a million stars, I would. Seriously the best sushi and service ever. The unlimited sushi is a deal that literally cannot be beat. We go here a minimum of once a month and Ann is the BEST!!!! read more

Seriously?! That had to have been a joke!!! Biggest waste of $16 ever! NEVER had a worse "sushi style/SE Asian meal" Read to the end for the positive.... Ordered the spicy tuna salad with fresh greens & veggies w/a side of edamame..... Tuna was a mushy super spicy (love heat w/flavor) NO flavor soggy mess over iceberg lettuce, NOT fresh greens. Too hot to eat with no flavor and mushy canned pineapple ‍ The edamame (buy a bag from Target & microwave instead!!) was a pathetic dry mess with no flavor and hardly touched with salt worse than what Target sells in the Frozen section. I threw it all out immediately and ate somewhere else.... Got this meal Togo unfortunately, because if I was there in person I would have asked the kitchen to take it back, thank them for their service & left. Inedible . Terrible bc I'm walking distance away. Such a shame! Positive: I try to offer constructive criticism at least..... They were smiling, nice & greeted me professionally. But now I know why I was the ONLY customer in the restaurant. They were nice enough I would imagine they would have tried to make up for their lack of quality had I eaten there, instead of getting it Togo. Just sad another very local restaurant we want to love is not worth visiting read more

Came here last night in hopes to do their all you can eat sushi option for 40 bucks. When we showed up we was told the wait time would be 15-30 minutes wait for a party of 6. Was totally fine for the waiting time, however we really did not get sat until 45 minutes. When we got sat, servers took about 15 minutes to finally take our orders and our orders were starting to come. When it was coming, about half our order showed up, while the other half was missing and never showed up (no big deal since that's kind of normal for most restaurant). When we decided to reorder for our second round, we order other new rolls and also reorder Eder the missing roll. However. I would not expect that about MOST of that second order to not showed up. When we finished what was brought to us, we was patiently waiting for the REST of the order in hopes that it'll come but it never did. The server then came by our table ask us if there's anything we need; I then ask if we have other rolls and order will be coming, and he went and checked and said there's nothing coming. We then decided to proceed to not reorder anymore rolls because keep in mind from the time they took our FIRST order till that moment, it has been 2 hours. We then decided to pay and we saw on the receipts of our recent order we made that never showed up so where did that rolls and order went? Overall, sushi and apps are good but this is the WORST AYCE sushi spot in Denver. I had never left an AYCE sushi feeling VERY hungry still and literally have to go to an In n Out just to fill myself up afterwards. For the same price that we paid, we would just stick with sushi katsu. read more

My husband and I come here about once a week and let me tell you, I'm very hard to please when it comes to sushi restaurant's so I'm so happy I found this restaurant! I'm surprised to see it only has 3.9 stars because I've brought almost everyone in my family and some friends at this point, and everyone has absolutely loved it and in turn brought their own friends back afterward. The fish is high quality, the service is great, the atmosphere inside is cool, love this place! Some of my personal favorites on the all you can eat menu are: lime hotate, ama ebi, ikura, eel nigiri, the crunch tiger roll and a few other grilled fish dishes I'm going to keep secret so I can have them all read more

Always friendly. Always tasty. New all you can eat menu is great if you are a big sushi fan!

Was expecting for this place to open for sometime since I saw the sign. Had lunch there, server was very attentive, and was able to get to me right away (though this is due to me being the only one who was dining in the place). Ordered the $14 lunch, substituted the 7 piece nigiri with one of the kitchen menu items (assorted tempura), two starters (house salad, and miso soup) and a choice of 4 rolls of any choosing from the lunch menu. Let me tell you I was not disappointed, the tempura was amazing, consisting 2 shrimp, cucumber, broccoli, and I believe a carrot with a sauce, and they were fried perfectly and had that incredible crunch to them. The sushi's that I got were very delicious and well made. All of this was definitely worth $14, and I'm definitely bringing friends and family here next time. May try their dinner sometime soon. read more

This place is a little bit different in regards to most sushi restaurants I've been to. Don't get me wrong, they're very good but just a little bit different. I've usually had to ask for wasabi and ginger with my sushi which isn't a huge deal. There's sushi roll ordering system is a little bit different as well, not bad whatsoever just a little complicated for a casual sushi dinner. The food is very good and the staff is always very friendly and attentive. read more

This place is AMAZING! My partner and I have now become weekly regulars and cannot get enough of this place! We absolutely adore Anne and Lay they are always so sweet and attentive. Dylan is also an amazing server. The food is outstanding always fresh with great quality. We do the AYCE every Friday and the selection you get is perfect for us, we love seaweed salad and nigiri as well as the amazing selection of rolls offered. The atmosphere is perfect to they have this really cute instagram type decor tons of cute plants and a beautiful chalk mural in the back (where we prefer sitting). We absolutely love this place and can safely say everything we've tried on the menu so far we have LOVED! We have both recommended this place to our friends, family, and colleagues! Much love, Evan and Josh. read more

This is the best ayce sushi on this side of town! I usually don't come for the service but this time,,,,,, This time,,,,, Johanna gave us exceptional service! From the time we sat down I felt welcomed! She explained everything and took care of our concerns about the kids charges. I'm writing this review before I've even got my food that's how great her service has been so far! I recommend asking for her as I will from here on out! Thanks Johanna! Food was amazing! Service was great and made for a perfect date night! We opted for the premium sushi all you can eat and it was worth it!

Food was immaculate, fast service , delicious fish and very attentive from the servers. Definitely would go again.

New menu; Not Good! I can't recommend any longer at least for lunch unless you want all u can eat for $24.95! Dinner all u can eat is $39.95. They do have individual items but at dinner prices and everything is ala-carte. So, if you order anything more than one item you might as well do all u can eat. At end, Very expensive. read more

Great food. Spring rolls that are fried that they call egg rolls are awesome. Gyoza is on point. Edamame is properly salted and cooked. Great sushi. I made special requests for no fish eggs and they delivered. It smells great when you walk in. Not like dirty dish rag...I know what you might be thinking. This would be a minimum requirement however I live in Aurora and if you go to the local joints around Quincy and Buckley...you know what I mean. Also the service is amazing. I will drive here (only 10 minutes) from my area to eat here and when I am shopping at Arapahoe Crossing. read more

Used to be our favorite lunch spot. They have gone away from having lunch meals to AYCE but overcharging. Won't be back.

I got take out for a hamachi jalapeño and the total came up to around $16 for only 4 piece of thin pieces of yellowtail sashimi with jalapeños on top. I've ordered at other places around the area and they come out to be cheaper with bigger potions than this. This place is over price with subpar sushi. I don't think I'm going to come back anytime soon. read more

The appeal here is they offer AYCE, the sushi is decent but not amazing, and their menus have different AYCE options to choose from based on your capacity to eat. Also pretty family friendly. However their service was okay, it was great that little kids can eat for free (not sure of the age but we dined with a 4yo in our group) but they were very strict on making us finish even her food. She only had one small avocado roll left that she couldn't finish since she's a child, but the server refused to give us our check until we finished it otherwise she was going to charge us a fee for not finishing food. I've been to soooo many AYCE spots and never been held accountable for a small amount of food, let alone just an avocado roll. I could completely understand if it was sushi with fish still in it, meat, or a full entree dish left unfinished but it seemed petty over a few tiny pieces of avocado that a child couldn't finish. It was a 45min friveDon't think we will make the drive out all t read more

Fresh sushi, easy to order, staff is friendly. Great drink menu. Always accommodating for small requests. Well kept and super clean.

Our favorite local sushi place. We've tried several Sushi places in the area and by far Sho stood out from the rest. They serve fresh sushi not over stuffed with rice. Sushi flavors are not masked by various random sauces like at some other similar places. Prices are reasonable, and they are spacing the tables appropriately so it doesn't feel super packed in. The staff are super responsive and nice. We always order nigiri and a few rolls for the kids and everything is always delish. At lunch I think they have some bento boxes and special menu that is really good value. They were really slow tonight and it's really a great place that the area should support so they stay open. read more

This place is amazing. Staff is nice and sushi is fresh. New Style and Flaming rolls are the best.

Slightly confusing menu. Only sushi is listed. We had no idea if they offered appetizers, desserts or what the selection of drinks were. The soy sauce on the table tasted extremely off. The wasabi came in a packet and was unbearable to eat. Awful. We ate in the last hour they were open so tables and floor were dirty. They did keep our waters full. The sushi in itself wasn't terrible but nothing special about it. The food certainly isn't anything I would recommend or get excited about. Boring and simple. This business definitely has room for improvement. Staff was masked and wearing gloves except for one of the sushi chefs who wore the mask on his chin. Sushi was served on bamboo plates which my initial thought was how do they keep them clean and sanitized? read more
