So far, so good! Clubs arrived(4 days early:), we live in Manhattan, so therein lies the biggest positive for shipstix. With 20% promo(plus Amex plat gave me another 25% off w.special offer), Ik there's a fuel surcharge, but still ---- $60-$70 each way to NOT load clubs in Uber or taxi to/from La Guardia is worth it! And we work full time, so it's ok not to hv them for a few days b4/after a golf trip. Ground shipping has worked as trips are planned months n advance. I wouldn't pay $175 ea way for sure!! read more

Please check the endless litany of excuses below. This is the typical of the SHIPSTICKS experience - there are many negative reviews - here and on Google. This company is an APP not a service. They don't actually do anything but blame others when things go south - and they often do. When they lose your stuff they want you to spend even more time than the hours you spend tracking their bags to send them additional receipts... Today marks three weeks since Shipsticks picked up my bags. AFTER THREE WEEKS, I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED ONE OF MY BAGS. The only reason they get one star is that I cannot give zero. I have shipped with them three times now - and they have been late all three times. Never again. This most recent shipment is literally unbelievable. I shipped four bags with them - a golf bag and three suitcases. One bag arrived on time. Two bags arrived 3 days late. One bag has still not arrived nine days later! Every day for the last six days they have told me it was coming - every day brings a different excuse. Every time this company gets a bad review on any channel (there are a lot) this company responds with more excuses instead of fixing their problems. This company cannot be trusted - their execution is absolutely horrible. Their resolution specialists are unable to resolve anything. Their management needs to take a hard look at their product because it doesn't work. They will lose your stuff and destroy your vacation. You will spend endless hours with them on text, e-mail and the phone trying to get your property - and for nothing. Don't take the chance. By the way -- icing on the cake "Joe G. scheduled a call with me to discuss and then flaked. Of course he sent me an e-mail with another excuse. read more

Shipsticks destroyed my golf carrier bag. I spent days emailing with them and they offered me $46.00. They found the absolute cheapest version of my bag. The bag new costs at least $150.00. I'll never use them again. read more

I have updated this post because shipsticks said I did not include the apartment number. Here is a screenshot. It seems like they are wrong. Instead of finding a reason the customer is wrong, maybe just fix the issue. Rud people. Their website didn't include the apartment number I entered on the FedEx label, so the golf bag was left in front of the apartment building in Washington DC. I called today to tell them so they could notify FedEx, and the woman had the nerve to tell me I should have called yesterday, Sunday. I said I tried to call this morning, and they were not open. She said, " Well, we sat here all day Saturday and Sunday, so I should have called". Like it was my fault. They told me to stick a note on the door. What a ripoff. You can just go to FedEx and get it done correctly for the same price. DO NOT TRUST YOUR CLUBS TO THEM!!!! read more

I used ship sticks for an international trip. My pick up date was 6/29 for the return and they didn't pick up until 6/30 with no explanation and no compensation. My clubs were supposed to arrive 7/3. My clubs did not arrive and DHL doesn't ship on a holiday or Sunday. I've used ship sticks before & they had me dropping off the shipment on a day that UPS was closed. My friends used luggage forward for the trip and they had their clubs within a few days. I called and ship sticks will not offer any sort of reimbursement for picking up my clubs late and delivering them late. They did not take responsibility for picking up the clubs late, which meant an extra weekend without my clubs. I will never use them again! read more

Basically they have one job that they failed to accomplish. Sent my clubs from New Jersey to Chicago to a world renowned CC to play on a Saturday. Received a text on Wednesday confirming shipement of clubs. Saturday morning I am at said CC and no clubs. Called SS and they told me the clubs were delivered, never claimed so they took them back on Thursday. Can deliver clubs on Monday. No warning. No text of an impending issue. Just no clubs. Do not take the chance. Total waste of time and effort. read more

11/5/25 Hard to fathom the numerous negative reviews ... because my recent experience was 100% positive. From order entry to the delivery of my golf clubs ... ShipSticks was rock solid. Also, the online process is user friendly as well as easy to navigate. BTW: Charisse in Customer Care is amazing. She's super efficient with great communication skills. read more

Unfortunately I need to pile on here. Paid for a 2 day one way shipment. Clubs weren't picked up, so are going home with me on SWA as checked bag instead. Need them right when I get home. I have $250 in SS gift cards that I guess will get used for shipping random stuff of little value when I have the time to drop off directly with fedex or ups versus rely on SS to coordinate a timely pickup. I'm sure Joe G. will be here to victim blame me shortly. read more

Horrible customer service! Left my golf bag in Scotland for Saturday pickup. Now Tuesday and bag still there! Hotel says they have bags from weeks ago. DHL driver picks up one bag a trip. Which is once or twice a week. AVOID SHIP STICKS at ALL costs. They promised, in writing, my bag would be picked up today. Did not happen. One delay after another. read more

They messed up once, gave me a credit. I gave them another chance. Screwed up again. Left me without my clubs at a golf school, despite my setting up the delivery three days early just to be safe. Not reliable. Waiving the delivery fee does no good if the service is not reliable. And they are just not good. Many emails, phone calls and contacts. Just not worth it. Put the clubs on the plane. read more

Horrible experience with ship sticks!!! Used them several times...this particular time, my clubs didn't arrive on the scheduled day. They told me the shipping label may have fallen off, 2 days later and 2 rounds of golf missed, they arrived with the shipping label fully attached! Do not ever use ship sticks!!! They offer zero compensation for the delay!! I'm just happy to have my clubs back!!! Horrible experience!!! read more

This is our first time using but we have traveled with others who have used. On every trip, someone using Ship Sticks is always missing their clubs. And for our first time, our clubs will arrive late. The guarantee is virtually worthless. It won't cover rain gear. Only club rentals and things like golf glove. 2 days of rentals will exceed the entire reimbursement ShipSticks will offer. And I ended up following up on status. ShipSticks never reached out to me even though tracking suggested a problem. read more

Update: In addition to delivering my clubs over a week late (still waiting technically and so far 0 for 3 on promised dates), Ship Sticks policy will not reimburse me for cancellation of round that occurred as a result of their inability to execute. It's been an infuriating experience on all fronts with this company and I would encourage others to pursue a different route to avoid the same. read more

It took over a month to get my clubs back: they were supposed to pick them up February 19, 2026 in Tenerife, Canary Islands. I got my clubs back March 23 in Southern California, over a month later. The support people tried their best to keep me updated but when it was all done and over with, not a word from the company about their messing up and not one word of apology. Just mind boggling. This is the kind of company you're dealing with for your precious clubs. read more

My clubs and luggage arrived late. I had to rent clubs for $60.00 and play golf in my dress shoes. My feet were swollen when I finished. My luggage never made it back. I have no clue where it is. They lost my clubs. I continue to get canned responses about how they are checking for them with the FedEx hub. Now they are working on a insurance claim, which is defaulted at $1,000 at a $0 cost to me, and you can certainly select other options to pay for more insurance. After pointing out that I am unimpressed with the default insurance being $1,000, which anyone buying clubs knows doesn't go very far, I received this snarky response from the lady who has been contacting me. "At the time the order was placed you selected $1000. There are other options to choose from, but to select $1000 you had to click the arrow to go to the complimentary insurance at $1,000. We are very sorry that you didn't realize your options. Best Regards, (I redacted her name)" Obviously you can select for more insurance, which anyone can see, however, I guess I trusted a company whose business it is to ship golf clubs to be able to competently handle this task. Lesson learned. Did not have my clubs for the entire golf trip and now will not have them for the next one. $1,000 doesn't even cover the rental cost of clubs at most places for a golf trip. Losing the clubs is one thing, receiving customer service replies about me not understanding my options and using "Customer service speak" that it is somehow my fault, is a whole new ball game. read more

This was the 2nd time using this service to transport our golf clubs from our residence to hotel. The first time, the clubs made it to the hotel, but were lost in transit and not returned to our home until one week past return date. On this current situation, our clubs were properly labeled and outside our residence awaiting pickup as required by the service. The pickup window was 9:00 am - 6:00 pm. After the pickup time had passed, I sent an urgent message through the services website requesting immediate assistance. I was informed that they do NOT have control over the shipper once they receive confirmation that the package was scheduled for pickup on the required ship date. The service can only reschedule the pickup for the next day, but given my destination requires 2 day shipper service which does not include weekend delivery, makes us miss one of our Golf outing days. In today's technology evolution, the distribution network should monitor the shipper up to the deadline hour in order to take appropriate action to ensure the product is picked up as planned. The customer service representatives were lacking for solutions that would meet my requirements, only offering a full refund, which does not get my product to my vacation destination in time. I had to upgrade my rental vehicle and change the method of getting to the airport as we now were required to take two golf carriers with us. The customer service manager did not offer to provide additional compensation for their error. I would not ever use this service if you need your product delivered timely, or the very least, ship your product a week ahead of when you need it to arrive, so when the shipper does not make your pickup as planned you have established a buffer yourself. Cannot recommend this service until they improve their distribution network technology, shipper relations and customer service. read more

Very helpful for international transportation. However, more follow-up and documentation required. All should have been disclosed when making the booking. Be sure to inquire . read more

After losing my clubs once and not getting my clubs until the last day of my trip, I tried them again only for their partner (fedex) to botch the shipping labels. Ship Sticks then had the audacity to charge me $50 to reship them. They used to take pride in their service; now, you'd honestly get better support at a Walmart checkout line. Don't fall for the "discount" lines where they pretend to do right--they are just charging you to fix their own mistakes. FedEx even delivered the box upside down. Save your money and fly with your clubs. read more

I used them recently for a trip to beaver creek and it was awesome. Clubs were on time and when the clubhouse couldn't find my clubs on the pick up date, ship sticks reached out to me the next day and asked me who I checked them in with, etc...located them with the club attendant and then offered to overnight them to keep them on schedule if needed. I didn't, so they just went ahead and booked them on the next route out- no extra charge or anything. Clubs came in and it was all good. Great customer service and great problem resolution. It's worth a couple of extra dollars to not have to keep up with your clubs, especially with kids. Great service with these guys and I'll use them every time now. It seems to me these negative reviews are more around how shippers packed the clubs themselves or how well they followed the advice on tagging your bags/boxes. Everyone at my home club uses these guys and I've never heard a negative report. Take it for what you will. Just keep in mind that you are shipping golf clubs. Ship Sticks don't actually transport them, they use fedex in my experience. Just keep that in mind. read more

Shipped my clubs via ShipSticks two weeks prior to my trip, they didn't arrive from the US to Mallorca prior to my arrival. It has been a total disaster.... playing with rented clubs, having to purchase balls, gloves, etc.... it's been a nightmare. I wish I had just taken them on the plane with me, would have saved me a lot of grief. The customer service help there has been totally worthless. I will never use them again and remind others not to use them as well. read more

Twelve days after pick up and still no golf clubs. I've had to advocate and call Fed Ex myself to file a case and even driving to my district office. Absolutely horrible customer service. Will never use ShipSticks again. If one is brave enough to use them do put an AirTag in the bag. The only way I've had any success in tracking my clubs. They couldn't care less if I ever see my golf clubs again. read more

UPDATE: They found my lost clubs and got them to me three days late. I still missed some golf, but they were on top of it. They refunded my payment (I would have much rather had the clubs on time!!) and their customer service was in constant email communication with me. When the bag arrived, it had this durable plastic shipping label attached to the handle. I wish Ship Sticks could have just sent me a label like that to start with--rather than having me (a non-golf-club shipping expert) printing out the label at home and attaching it myself in a way that FedEx later completely obliterated. Seems like it could have spared everyone a lot of pain. read more

After 30+ years of taking my golf clubs with me on commercial airlines, I decided to try ShipSticks. Upon arriving at our destination, my wife and I unpacked our clubs from our travel bags. Unfortunately, my wife's driver was broken with the head dangling by a thread from the shaft. Upon contacting ShipSticks, a representative reached out and while accommodative, could only reimburse us for the club's market value. This was despite the fact that our regular golf shop could not repair the club as the head could not be removed (the adapter had been bent and jammed and thus, not removable). I wrote a letter to the CEO requesting we merely be made whole as we now need to purchase a new driver. I then received another call from a nice representative (not the CEO or anyone in his office) effectively explaining ShipSticks' business model and how this is the insurance company's policy - no further remuneration would be forthcoming although I have a standing offer to utilize ShipSticks in the future at no charge. I am hard pressed to see why I would want to do so. While I understand the economics of the situation, ShipSticks seems only to understand that portion of their business. The customer is certainly not always right but such a shortfall in client service is, in my mind, a significant shortcoming. Customer goodwill does not appear to be part of company policy. SHITsticks is right! read all the reviews before you use them. it's been 14 days since my clubs were supposedly picked up. Easy to order, very reasonable cost (CA to NC), solid treatment by FedEx, and delivered ahead of schedule in perfect condition. What more can a customer ask?? Aside: The cost to pack and ship was far less than renting clubs 2x. I will use those clubs about 10x. Such a deal... read more

I've used Ship Sticks a number of times and have always had a great experience. I love that they offer really premium insurance on your clubs and that they have 24 hour customer service as well. Interesting response, Joe. You know very well I'm a customer and have been on the phone with Brian and Charise. To imply what you did is clearly an attempt at a deflection rather than owning your mistake. There is a new development. You failed to pick up my clubs a second time! Since my last review, you were supposed to find my clubs and send them to my home, where I clearly indicated that I needed them by Thursday (tomorrow). I just heard from your office that they are sitting in Las Vegas. I asked to speak with you on my last call, and after waiting 15 minutes, Brian got on the phone and said you refused to come to the phone. Anyone reading this should RUN from this company....They have terrible service and an owner who would rather deflect than deal with the issue. read more

I recommend going to UPS or FedEx directly and avoid the run around and cost of Ship Sticks. Had two pieces of luggage delivered from NY to San Francisco -- the first arrived early and was dropped off in front of the house on a busy city Street when no one was home, the other luggage can't be tracked. Ship Sticks does nothing but say "I'm sorry" and put the blame on FedEx. No customer service, no value add. read more

It took 2 weeks for my house guests to get their suitcases after Ship Sticks promised it in 3 days. Ship sticks subsequently promised it in 5 days. It took THIRTEEN days. Thirteen, think about the last time you traveled. Would you like wait 13 days to get your luggage? I should have driven them cross country myself, but Ship Sticks could never get the luggage back from the carrier to problem solve. I alerted the CEO, got a call from someone named Lisa who offered nothing more than continued empty apologies. I will never use ship sticks again and have already told countless friends & families to beware. Ship Sticks thanks for stressing me out, embarrassing me and my guests and causing a lot of bad vibes. read more

Excellent system and good value. Used shipsticks to send 2 sets of golf clubs to Palm Springs. We live near Chicago and since we wouldn't be needing our clubs before or after our trip, since it was December, we decided to give this a try. Cost for ground shipping each way was $74, $25 more than taking them on the airline and well worth not having to deal with them at the airport, shuttles, rental car. Clubs were shipped to our hotel as scheduled. After our trip, shipped clubs home. They arrived today! Great stress free experience we will definitely use the service again. read more

I have been waiting for my clubs for multiple days as they were already supposed to be delivered. They have been at the fedex facility 30 minutes away from where I am and they have apparently been on a delivery truck for the last 2 days but have yet to be dropped off. I have called them so many times trying to fined out where they are and every different person I talk to has something different to say. I have tried to ask them if I could just go pick it up to which I was told that would delay the process even more which I don't understand how that is possible. I did get a refund but am still waiting for my clubs to hopefully arrive today but at this point it would have saved me the headache to have driven them 10 hours instead of using this terrible service. read more

I used ShipSticks to ship valuable non-golf equipment thinking that they would provide an extra level of service and safety above Fedex. All they did was to take the order, charged extra for added insurance, and gave the box to Fedex which damaged the box badly causing $600 worth of repair. ShipSticks denied my claim saying that it wasn't golf equipment. Should have just used Fedex and dealt directly with the carrier. ShipSticks added no value. read more
