I paid $12,000 for two moves, and my furniture was in perfect condition before they handled it. My intention was simply to inform the public so they could make an educated decision before hiring this moving company. After two months of negotiating with their claim's supervisor, I agreed against my better judgment--to accept their "good will gesture" of $550. This amount doesn't even cover the repair cost for my leather sofa alone. Now, Good Greek claims that all "disparaging" remarks must be removed before they will issue the settlement. This requirement is buried in tiny, hard to notice contract language stating that all negative reviews must be deleted prior to payment. All I wanted was to get my furniture repaired and move on. Deleting a truthful review is unfair and is nothing more than bullying to appear better than they really are. Not fair, and I won't cave. Good Greek should have simply settled instead of dragging this out and making the situation worse. I will be filing in small claims court, and I will continue sharing honest updates with the public. Consumers deserve transparency. Instead of taking responsibility, Good Greek insists that negative reviews be erased before they will honor even a minimal settlement. Shame on you, Good Greek. Shame on me for not reading reviews prior to hiring them.
