You can try out a bike in a low traffic area behind their store. Tried out their e-bikes, but opted for a traditional bike. They are real pros and care about doing everything right. After you purchase a bike, they ask you to bring it back for a free checkup to make sure everything is working properly... love that. It's nice to deal with people who care about what they do and bend over backwards to help the customer. That's why they've been in business since 1957. I had several items that needed to be handled on my e-bike: install new racing harness (all the wires were helpfully labeled by manufacturer), install new brakes, install new plug and play motor. After a few minutes the paramedics decided this was a job for the doctor, and they would need to take the bike back to their garage. Said it would take a few days. No problem. A few days later, however, they said "no thanks, we're not going to do this." So they dropped the bike back off. They didn't even do the easy straightforward stuff like installing the front brake. I had to enlist ChatGPT to be my instructor, and I got it all figured out myself. It was actually kind of fun, and I gained confidence by being able to do repairs that were too scary for a professional to do. If you need something done quick and easy, the doctor deserves 4 stars. But maybe look elsewhere if it's a more complicated repair. Here's a pic of ChatGPT saving the day for me.
