Just recently purchased a new townhouse and needed an outlet to charge my EV (waiting for a supercharger on the turnpike or trying to find a Wawa got OLD quick. I put in a Yelp request and numerous companies reached out. Some were extremely high priced, some would take forever to respond like the knowledge was just not there. Mike from PowerRiteElectric reached out and even though he was busy or I got busy he always followed up. He eventually got out to me. I was at work but opened the garage for him he took a look, went to get the items and got the job done. The work was done very neat and professional and he stuck to the quote that I was first given when he initially reached out. Nothing bad to say at all. I would recommend to anyone. read more

Power Rite Electric - Outlet neatly placed in the perfect area. - Electricians Near Me - Lake Worth, Florida

This company is a home run. MIke C came out for my estimate with their products for lanai lighting and it's awesome. He is personable and works with you to accommodate your needs. Their installers, Nick and Jackson, came on the scheduled day and on time; they were respectful, competent, neat and worked well together. They cleaned up and moved everything back into place when they finished. I LOVE THE SYSTEM they installed. These lights are the finishing touch to my lanai area. (It's set up for Christmas but lights can be changed to anything color your heart desire) I highly recommend this company!!! read more

If you want it done right ... Call Power Rite Electric. Joe was simply amazing. Arrived on time & was ready to work. Had hired Power Rite for installation of kitchen light & placing outlet for stove hood in cabinetry. He explained what he was going to do, how & assured me of process. If I had any questions he put my mind at ease. It's nice to know there are still contractors who take pride in their work. Also he cleaned up after working.. that's a nice added touch!!!! Thank you Joe. He is also (a rarity in todays day & age) one of those people who demonstrates his moral compass in all he does. His ethics, integrity , honesty & fairness show at all times Thanks again for all you do!!!!!! Peggy read more

Very happy to have found Mike and Anthony on Yelp. They grounded the electric in my old home and quickly solved some mysteries that had been driving us nuts in this 1959 build. Extremely responsive, punctual, and overall just good people. Thanks, guys! read more

I put out a Yelp request for an electrician at 8:30 pm. Within minutes Joe from PowerRite Electric responded. We set up a tentative appointment for the following day which we would confirm in the morning. Joe did contact again the next morning to discuss the cost of a visit - which was absolutely reasonable and he confirmed that yes, his partner Anthony would be at my home at 5 pm. And he was. I had 3 light timer switches to install which required a more complex procedure than usual. Anthony got it all done in about 2 hours and even charged slightly less than Joe had quoted. All in all this was Business 101. Promise what you can deliver and deliver what you promise. Highly recommended! read more

Power Rite Electric - Electricians Near Me - Lake Worth, Florida

This electrical company prides its self on being on time while giving the customer a competitive price. I had them put up a car charger for my new electric vehicle. Mike came to work with me first on how we best can configure the job. We needed a 50 amp circuit breaker so he figured out a way to fit it in the existing electrical box. Then when it came to installation, his electricians came on the right day at the appointed time and completed the job on time and left the job area clean. I'd highly recommend them for any electrical job. read more

Will not work with Power Rite Electric again. They did not finish the job as promised, their worker harassed my neighbor and probably showed up stoned to our job site, was challenging to work with and did not install as requested. Took multiple visits to do a one day job. Power Rite seemed more interested to get paid than to do the right thing for a customer. Poor value for the money paid. read more

Mike from Power Rite Electric was a pleasure to work with as was their installers. They installed recessed lighting in our living room and they did a great job. Their price was good also. They are an honest company and I highly recommend them. read more

I tried to use this company last year and had a horrible customer service experience. I left a 1 star review because, I was given a time and date for someone to show up for a estimate and no one ever showed up. After I left a 1 star review about that, the owner of the company contacted me via Yelp and was absolutely rude and unprofessional and left nasty remarks about me. He then proceeded to remove his reply after I answered him back, thinking no one would see it. I had already screenshot his response and posted it. His business partner then reached out to me and was an absolute gentleman and I decided to remove the review. So I decided to give them a second chance and have been trying to call a 917 area code number and keep getting Voicemail box that is full, requested a appointment via there website and tried them on Yelp again. I haven't received anything in response from them. Power Rite is back to there normal actions, no response. I assume I should be waiting for a nasty response and then a phone call. Please don't bother trying Yelp customers do yourself a favor and find a reliable electrical company. read more

Joe from Power Rite Electric was extremely responsive. I called in a bit of a panic yesterday evening and by today, Joe's technician Anthony had gone out to assess the problem and replace the burnt outlet. I really appreciate how quick, resourceful and personable Joe was. Would absolutely use them again in the future. read more

I have had the need for professional electric services on several projects. Power Rite Electric (PRE) first helped me with the electrical set up of my office ontop of my garage - ran electric wire accross 500sqft of office space and built the electrical pannel. All applications were set up to completion, including an electric heater running on its own breaker on 220v. The work was completed with tremendous efficiency. I have been running major electric components out of my garage office with no issues. Also, I am currenty running a Cryptocurrency mining rig which requires a lot of energy , PRE was able to set up all the electric components to execute the project. We have been running at full capacity with no issues. Lastly, we built a pool in the backyard. PRE ran over 100ft of electric wire to set up all the electric components of the pool, including grounding. Overall my experience with Power Rite Electric has been outstanding. Professional and hardworking team. They are my goto electric team. read more

I wanted to take a few moments to write a review for Anthony at Power Rite Electric. Recently he rewired the electrical panel in my garage because we had a circuit that kept tripping, which led the outside refrigerator to lose power. He also identified why our GFI outlets outside would fail whenever it rains heavily (that had been an issue for years), there was a small gap in the weather stripping, that allowed water to pool inside the outlet on the side of our home. He had that fixed in a matter of a few minutes. Anthony also walked me through how to change a low-voltage transformer that had gone bad, which affected my video doorbell. He told me step-by-step instructions over the phone because it was a simple job, and doing it myself would save me money. Anthony is knowledgeable, professional, honest, and trustworthy. What else could you ask for in a contractor in South Florida? I recommend him without reservation! -Owen read more

They showed up on time. Did a fantastic job clean and courteous. I would definitely recommend them for all electrical needs.

I posted a one star review about this company a few days ago. Since then Joe has reached out to me and asked if he could have the opportunity to earn this five star review. I previously hired a handyman to do some repairs which included some work adding electrical outlets. The handyman butchered the job. Joe arrived at my home on time, communicating with me throughout the day. He repaired all the damage done by the handyman. Everything is now safe and done to code. He arrived in uniform with a company vehicle clearly marked to show who he was when he pulled into my driveway. He brought his own broom and cleaned up after the job was finished. As a specialty contractor myself I ask my customers to give me the opportunity to correct any deficiencies in my work. I'm very happy that I gave Joe at Power Rite the opportunity to provide me with excellent service. I feel I have finally found a company I can refer to my friends and family and customers. Joe is going to return to install some lighting for me. Power Rite is now the only company I will consider for my electrical needs. Joe was also very personable and easy to talk to. Rest assured. This IS a real company! read more

Due to a storm, I had a surge happen and took out half the house's outlets. I called and spoke with Joe, and I knew right then this was the right place. I called about 8 places before and they either tried to upsell me or couldn't make it for about a week. He had Anthony come the very next day. Anithony was amazing! He helped me learn about the issue and gave me some pointers and recommdations in case it were to happen again. Top notch service A+++++ read more

Amazing service and even more amazing when it comes to customer service. I had a over night emergency, and tried to call every company I could. Power Rite answered on the 1st ring and was there to help use with in a half hour. They quoted us a great price over the p, and when they came out they noticed there can be a cheaper and better way to fix our emergency. They explained to us how they where going to fix it and save us money. They where so professional and respectful. When they where done they cleaned up everything and even mopped our house. I am going to recommend them to everyone. This company is the real deal and you should only use them. read more

Spoke with someone from the company and was assured they will get back to me "in the afternoon". No one did. Not good business practice.

They guys are friendly, prompt and extremely fair. They saved me from a potentially bad situation where my power went out the night of my wife's birthday! I highly recommend to anyone in the palm beach area read more

Great work, great service, great price. It's extremely rare to find a company that has all 3. I had 2 240v lines run in the laundry room. The work done exceeded my expectations and I will definitely be calling them back for future work when I am ready. read more

Anthony showed up on time, which is a rarity in Florida, to discuss our job and what we were looking for and promptly sent us an estimate. We were looking for several recessed lights installed in our bedroom and 2 light fixtures replaced with recessed lights. Anthony worked around our schedule to make sure that our work day wasn't interrupted. He treated our home like it was his own, and left our home in the same condition it was in prior to his doing work (which is also a rarity). We have already discussed with Anthony our future electrical needs and will be using him going forward. I would not hesitate to recommend Anthony and Power Rite Electric for any electrical jobs. He is top notch! read more

My family and I just purchased a new home in the area and encountered an issue with the wiring when changing our light fixtures. I turned to Yelp and sent some messages to some electricians in the area in a frenzy because the next day was my daughter's birthday party in the new house ‍. Thankfully Anthony from Power Rite responded right away! He asked me to send him a few photos and asked me what worked best with my schedule. When he came to the house he was very prompt and explained everything to me, he also answered every question I asked. His price was very fair, he fixed our problem, saved my daughter's birthday, and even gave my husband some sound advice for our new home. Going forward we plan to have Anthony update our control panel. I definitely recommend Power Right because being on time ( with good communication) and leaving my house neat after doing a job are very important to me! Thank you Anthony! I will update this review after we have our control panel updated! read more
