They cleaned up and moved everything back into place when they finished. I LOVE THE SYSTEM they installed. These lights are the finishing touch to my lanai area. I put out a Yelp request for an electrician at 8:30 pm. Within minutes Joe from PowerRite Electric responded. We set up a tentative appointment for the following day which we would confirm in the morning. Joe did contact again the next morning to discuss the cost of a visit - which was absolutely reasonable and he confirmed that yes, his partner Anthony would be at my home at 5 pm. And he was. I had 3 light timer switches to install which required a more complex procedure than usual. Anthony got it all done in about 2 hours and even charged slightly less than Joe had quoted. This electrical company prides its self on being on time while giving the customer a competitive price. I had them put up a car charger for my new electric vehicle. Mike came to work with me first on how we best can configure the job. We needed a 50 amp circuit breaker so he figured out a way to fit it in the existing electrical box. Then when it came to installation, his electricians came on the right day at the appointed time and completed the job on time and left the job area clean. They did not finish the job as promised, their worker harassed my neighbor and probably showed up stoned to our job site, was challenging to work with and did not install as requested. Took multiple visits to do a one day job. Power Rite seemed more interested to get paid than to do the right thing for a customer. Poor value for the money paid. read more

I tried to use this company last year and had a horrible customer service experience. I left a 1 star review because, I was given a time and date for someone to show up for a estimate and no one ever showed up. After I left a 1 star review about that, the owner of the company contacted me via Yelp and was absolutely rude and unprofessional and left nasty remarks about me. He then proceeded to remove his reply after I answered him back, thinking no one would see it. I had already screenshot his response and posted it. His business partner then reached out to me and was an absolute gentleman and I decided to remove the review. So I decided to give them a second chance and have been trying to call a 917 area code number and keep getting Voicemail box that is full, requested a appointment via there website and tried them on Yelp again. I haven't received anything in response from them. Power Rite is back to there normal actions, no response. I assume I should be waiting for a nasty response and then a phone call. Please don't bother trying Yelp customers do yourself a favor and find a reliable electrical company. read more

I have had the need for professional electric services on several projects. Power Rite Electric (PRE) first helped me with the electrical set up of my office ontop of my garage - ran electric wire accross 500sqft of office space and built the electrical pannel. All applications were set up to completion, including an electric heater running on its own breaker on 220v. The work was completed with tremendous efficiency. I have been running major electric components out of my garage office with no issues. Also, I am currenty running a Cryptocurrency mining rig which requires a lot of energy , PRE was able to set up all the electric components to execute the project. We have been running at full capacity with no issues. Lastly, we built a pool in the backyard. PRE ran over 100ft of electric wire to set up all the electric components of the pool, including grounding. Overall my experience with Power Rite Electric has been outstanding. I wanted to take a few moments to write a review for Anthony at Power Rite Electric. Recently he rewired the electrical panel in my garage because we had a circuit that kept tripping, which led the outside refrigerator to lose power. He also identified why our GFI outlets outside would fail whenever it rains heavily (that had been an issue for years), there was a small gap in the weather stripping, that allowed water to pool inside the outlet on the side of our home. He had that fixed in a matter of a few minutes. Anthony also walked me through how to change a low-voltage transformer that had gone bad, which affected my video doorbell. He told me step-by-step instructions over the phone because it was a simple job, and doing it myself would save me money. Anthony is knowledgeable, professional, honest, and trustworthy. Power Rite answered on the 1st ring and was there to help use with in a half hour. They quoted us a great price over the p, and when they came out they noticed there can be a cheaper and better way to fix our emergency. I posted a one star review about this company a few days ago. Since then Joe has reached out to me and asked if he could have the opportunity to earn this five star review. I previously hired a handyman to do some repairs which included some work adding electrical outlets. The handyman butchered the job. Joe arrived at my home on time, communicating with me throughout the day. He repaired all the damage done by the handyman. Everything is now safe and done to code. He arrived in uniform with a company vehicle clearly marked to show who he was when he pulled into my driveway. He brought his own broom and cleaned up after the job was finished. As a specialty contractor myself I ask my customers to give me the opportunity to correct any deficiencies in my work. I'm very happy that I gave Joe at Power Rite the opportunity to provide me with excellent service. I feel I have finally found a company I can refer to my friends and family and customers. Anthony showed up on time, which is a rarity in Florida, to discuss our job and what we were looking for and promptly sent us an estimate. We were looking for several recessed lights installed in our bedroom and 2 light fixtures replaced with recessed lights.
