He offered to come tonight but it would cost more money. I am so thankful for his help. I will call back in the morning to get on their schedule to replace the alarm - - apparently when the electricity went out yesterday, it surged and is now broken. They were the 3rd company I got a quote from and I'm so happy I waited & found them! Here's why: PROS: - The initial call was thorough and not rushed. James - a licensed electrician - was very kind and started the process by asking for pics to get an idea for a quote which he quickly provided - Days later James' repair specialist, Xavier, came to do the work. He was a lively, smiley and incredibly polite character who explained the process of the project every step of the way - Xavier manoeuvred expertly through the attic into areas other workers had said was too narrow - Hours later, an outlet was installed and connected to a new switch on the electrical panel (a relatively short amount of time to be honest!) - All dust & debris in the washroom where the work was completed as well as out in the garage where the attic was being used was cleared and swept... Xavier did this without being required to, asked or prompted - The cost of the job was in the range of but still below what the other electricians were charging - The work was done perfectly I won't hesitate to call these guys in the future or recommend them to others and neither should you. An easy 5 stars in my opinion!

I made several calls to electricians who claim ti be avaukable 24/7. Trust me, thats mostly false advertising...and leaving messages does nothing. But Romeo, co-owner of 911 Electrical Service showed up at 3:30 am & power was finally restored around 4 am - with a temporary fix & a promise to return to do a permanent fix. Today, Romeo returned, as promised, with help to fix things. They added a master switch for the whole house & replaced a few other parts. Now, everything is back to normal. There's a particular kind of stress that comes with handling things like this alone -- trusting that the people who show up to help are honest, asking the right questions while you're exhausted, and making decisions anyway. I am grateful for competent people who show up when it matters -- and for lights that turn back on.
