After waiting a long time, he arrived. He couldn't use my alarm. I could pay for his type, but it was the same type that caused the bleeping noise a year into use. So I declined service. Put out a call to quote via Yelp to install NEMA 14-50 outlet for residential Tesla mobile charger. Project was subsequently revised to Tesla wall charger install. Of the half dozen to reply, Sunshine Electric was the most communicative and eager to accept the challenge. Price was adjusted downward from original flat fee. Timing and payment options were discussed and agreed upon with ease. After verbal agreement to move forward with project, communications were frequent and timely; co-ordination of arrival flight of a family member who would give access to the property, arrival time of Tesla equipment, install details and specifications. Project was completed without a hitch, on time, on budget and on-spec. After another company didn't show up, Sunshine Electric came through! I needed an outdoor 110V outlet to support a water softening system and time was of the essence since I can only take off so many days from work. Commitment to appointments are VERY important, especially when contractors are specifically scheduled for certain days and times. They responded within minutes with a Yelp quote and I asked for a time the next day. Again, they responded quickly by booking me for 4:30 pm the very next day. Yura showed up right at 4:30, went to work to install the outdoor outlet and was done in 40 minutes. What I like about service technicians is what my old boss told me: Leave the work area cleaner than you found it. If I could give 100 stars I would-Yura was wonderful to work with and I have used him repeatedly over the past few years. In the middle of our kitchen cabinet installation we hit a hiccup and needed to move some power lines, the company I was working with wanted a ridiculous amount of money and was going to destroy the drywall and leave it opened. I discovered Yura on Craigslist, and was amazed when he quoted half the price and was able to 'fish' the wires through without touching the drywall! He came back again to wire our outside deck with lights and ceiling fans, and most recently wired our entire new tiny house build! He collaborated with me on the best layout and design and went above and beyond adding in extra things that I hadn't even thought of but certainly appreciate-such as a wired in smoke alarm, and making sure there were appropriate amounts of all necessities-such as outlets and outdoor lighting to cover us in all directions. I contacted Sunshine Electric and after some discussion we came to an agreement and they told me they would be here at 8:20 the next morning and showed up just as they said they would and proceeded to install the fans. The previous owners of the house we just moved into installed another dryer outlet in the garage. Found it weird, as the actual dryer was inside the house. Anyway, just purchased an electric vehicle and was in need of charging. This was the first time I ever attempted to charge the vehicle at all. Plugged it into the dryer outlet (with proper adapter) and it wasn't charging. Never thought anything of it, as you would think all outlets in a house would be working. One fee for labor and the LED tube lights. I was very happy with the work! I thought I had to buy a new lighting system but they already knew what was wrong when I described the problem. It had to do with the lighting ballast...so instead of replacing it he bypassed it so we don't have to worry about that anymore.
