She literally took my hand and walked me through every step from beginning to end. She was very knowledgeable about the company and what it stands for and reassuring me that they have the best drivers for transporting and getting the job done in a timely matter. Renee was always available and reliable for any little questions or concerns that I may have had. She always returned my calls through text,email or voicemail if not all 3! Her clarity and customer service skills are over the top and very detailed. Renee is the best! My car was picked up January 24th and scheduled for delivery January 31st. To my surprise, the driver contacted me to let me know, that they would be delivering my car early! My car was delivered early on the morning of January 29th. It was delivered to me the same way I gave it to them. Not a scratch, dent or ding. And everything inside my car was still in place and where I left it. With that being said, the drivers were awesome! I couldn't be more happier and comfortable with the decision of having a sound mind to choose "Ship A Car Direct" The Communication factor was very transparent. Everything from the cost of delivery, (which was very reasonable & no hidden fees or up selling) time frame of delivery and even down to contracting me through emails and texts to insure me that if I had questions about anything, they were there for me and I was given several contact information should I need help or had questions on the weekend. They also have videos to help ease your mind of wanting to know how your car will be shipped and handled from point A to B. They even have their own app for tracking & taking pictures of vehicle before and after delivery, to reinsure that you have nothing to worry about should a accident occurs. I also love the layers of insurance they have as well. Both delivery guys took pictures of my car being picked up and took pictures when my car got delivered. My compliments to its team - especially CHRISTINA in the 212 area code! Details: Finding a reliable way to ship a car by truck is like navigating through a swamp full of alligators and quicksand. I recently reviewed my options for moving a car from SoCal to the Pacific Northwest - extensively. There are many internet reviews available - and many warnings about the industry - but most of them feel more like advertisements than authentic reviews. After going through about 25 websites, I found there were about five brokers nationally that are consistently given higher ratings. If you're new to shipping cars/trucks, know this: the standard procedure is to contact brokers who will link your locational need with an actual trucking company. Your broker will find you options at various costs (ncluding brokerage fee) - so the first "price" you see is almost always an estimate. You eventually decide on a real price based on the broker's hunting skills and current market (supply/demand). Summer tends to be the most expensive time to ship. With this understood, I contacted all five of the highest rated brokers. One felt very sleezy, so I dropped it immediately. The other four gave me "prices" ranging from $1060 to $1750. Three of the four strongly warned me about other companies offering unreliably low pricing just to get me to commit. The fourth company, with the lowest "price", was "Ship a Car Direct." Every interaction I had with this firm was friendly, clear, prompt and professional. They knew my region of the country (even though I worked with someone in New York) and they had great insights. The "price" they initially quoted was always emphasized to be an estimate of what they thought I could get my car shipped for. In a short time, after getting daily updates on their 'shopping' progress, they confirmed the $1060 quote. That is, their estimate (the lowest one I received) was confirmed exactly. The trucking company they arranged was superb. My car was picked up exactly on time, with the driver speaking directly with me from the pick up site and twice along the journey to give me updates. He arrived on time and worked carefully with me to ensure I was entirely satisfied that there was no damage to the car. There was none. Finally, I am a real person living in northern Idaho. This is a REAL REVIEW. I am a first time car shipper. I purchased a vehicle from NY and needed to ship to CA. I tried a different (Major) company first, had me hanging for 3 days without confirmation. I ended cancelling due to no confirmation. Tried a 2nd company, didn't work out either. I went back to Google and checked for the best companies I could use and found ShipACarDirect. I got in contact with John, who assisted me with the entire transaction. I was really pleased with the detailed information provided to me which put me at ease with the entire transaction. I ordered for an enclosed transport, which is a little bit more than the regular, open transport. The extra price did not matter to me as I wanted the vehicle in pristine condition when I receive it. On top of that, I was given a 7 day delivery date. After 2 days, I received a confirmation text from the driver named Alex. I called the number and confirmed the vehicle was being loaded as we spoke. Driver provided photograph confirming the loading of the vehicle. Along the following dates, I continued to receive text messages from Alex, providing me updates how far he is from me and the expected delivery date. On 06/22/20, the car was delivered 1 day less than the 7 day estimated time frame. The vehicle arrived in great condition, no problems at all, which was the purpose of the enclosed shipment. The truck driver was friendly and communicative. I am very pleased with the shipment. Overall experience, I could say I am extremely happy and couldn't have asked for anything more. I got what I expected - great customer service, delivery with care. I have no plans anytime in the future to obtain another car shipment service , but if I do, I now know who I would be reaching to. Being a first-time buyer of a vehicle off the Internet, I chose Ship A Car Direct because of their highly positive reviews and for their obvious expertise in the vehicle-shipping industry. Ship A Car Direct will thoroughly inform you and fully support you throughout the process. This does not mean that you are entirely uninvolved, because it is useful and appropriate for you to be in direct contact with the carrier dispatcher and the transport driver from prior to pickup through to delivery, so having direct contact numbers for voice & text messaging with them is important. Request a copy of Ship A Car Direct's contract with the carrier, and be aware of how large the truck & trailer will be, just in case your neighborhood streets make access to your home difficult for the driver. If your purchase is like mine, based upon photos and phone calls, have your salesperson provide two additional contact names, just in case an emergency causes the primary and secondary contacts to be unavailable to the transport driver, which did occur in my case. Request to receive the pre-loading inspection photos and report that the driver completes at the pickup location, and then upon delivery, have the driver point out where all the pictured scratches or scuffs exist on the vehicle. My driver was extraordinarily observant and documented very subtle issues that I would not have immediately recognized. I paid extra for my vehicle to travel in an enclosed transport, and after being carefully unloaded by the driver and his assistant, my vehicle was entirely clean and damage-free. Consider tipping your driver if everything goes well, as it did in my case. We hadn't shipped a vehicle before, so the whole process of identifying a trustworthy company to arrange a coast to coast shipment was a bit nerve wracking as there are so many horror stories and negative comments out there. After quite a bit of research, and contacting several companies we decided to go with Ship a Car Direct. They were extremely professional, very responsive to questions, and kept in contact throughout the entire process. There were no surprises, price adjustments, delays, or issues / damage to our car traveling on an open carrier from California to South Carolina. They arranged for our vehicle to be transported with Transauto Logistics, and the pickup occurred exactly on the day we requested (typically there is a several day window). They arrived on time, confirming 30 minutes prior to arrival, and the pickup process went smoothly documenting the vehicle condition & mileage prior to loading. Delivery went just as smoothly, as they called in route letting us know their anticipated arrival date, then following up the day before to set up a tentative time, then confirming that time on the day of delivery. The vehicle arrived essentially in the same condition in which is was loaded (although a bit dusty/dirty from the long distance on an open carrier) but no damage and no extra mileage on the odometer. The whole process went very smoothly, and completely eliminated any fear that I had in auto transportation. There are so many horror stories on-line about brokers and auto transporters which made me second guess my decision to ship "my baby" at all. After a month of talking with different companies, reading reviews and getting multiple quotes, I contacted John at Ship a Car Direct. I was not disappointed. I accepted Ship a Car Direct's quote late on 6/4/21. M&A Auto Shipping was assigned instantly with an estimated pick up in Florida on Monday, 6/7/21 and delivery to Massachusetts by Friday, 6/11/21. Pick up did occur as estimated on 6/7 in the afternoon. During that week, John and M&A Auto Shipping were available to take calls from me. The driver, Alex, of M&A called the day before and the morning of 6/11 to confirm the location and time of delivery. Releasing custody of my car to an unknown environment could have been stressful if not for John and Alex. Their drivers have been helpful and careful with my vehicles. My cars have arrived in one piece with zero damage. I had a little scare twice: First, when I booked online on 8/8/25 and didn't get a driver assigned until 8/14/25. This is the third time I've used Ship a Car Direct and I couldn't be happier. I kept Matt's number from before... just in case... and sure enough... I bought an older car in Arizona (low humidity!) and needed it shipped to me in NYC. (The internet is an amazing thing!) Anyway, Matt (funny, cool) gave me a price that seemed kind of high but I asked him about it and he explained why prices were a little higher right now. And hey, you get what you pay for... anyway, it all worked out great. There was a delay for the pick up by a day but the carrier let the seller know about it a few days before, so no biggie. ShipACarDirect is incredible. I know because we contracted with two others to move our car from CA to NY only to have them disappear. First we hired RoadRunner Auto Transport. Gave them three weeks notice. They contacted us the day they were supposed to pick up the car telling us it would be a few more days. Fired them. Then we found Direct Connect Auto. They told us how horrible the industry can be and were sympathetic. They told us they'd take care of it that day. Then they disappeared (turns out they had a F- BBB rating). Finally we found Wade at ShipACarDirect. A+ BBB rating. While unusual on short notice, he and his team found a carrier within a couple of hours. I used ship a car direct to arrange for transportation of my newly purchased vehicle from an auto dealer in AL to WA state. I had initially opted for enclosed shipping, but there was no carrier assigned for nearly 10 days (we would later learn that the carriers were rescheduled and running behind due to hurricane Sally). I spoke to Wade and authorized finding an open carrier too, which he did within 48 hours, and my vehicle was delivered in the same condition as it was picked up, in about 10 days. The carrier was ABP logistics and their driver Vlad was great - easy to communicate and responds quickly with status updates and location, Wade knocked $100 off their brokerage fee as a goodwill gesture due to the unexpected delay in scheduling a carrier, which I really appreciated. I had to move my car from CA to CO Denver. After doing online search and got many calls from different companies, I chose Christina team from Ship a Car Direct. We communicated through emails and phones, and she was so helpful. She answered all my concerns, and quoted a price almost the same throughout the process, it was increased like 100-200 but it was okay. Although the service was door to door, I had to pick up my car from the company yard since I needed it sooner. My car was arrived at the destination sooner than expected, they picked up on the 20th and it was arrived on the 27th (they estimated 29th). I can get my car delivered to my home the next day but I chose to pick it up there one day earlier. There was no damage or scratch to my car. One more thing, this is a "broker" company, so they will direct you to a towing company after you placed your order. read more

This was my first time shipping a car and our representative (Renee) answered our questions (extremely timely responses, even on weekends) completely which resolved our concerns about the process from start to finish. You will have the choice of a large number of brokers to use but if shipping again I will use Ship A Car Direct again. The transport company that was used was also excellent. Although the truck broke down (these things happen from time to time) we were kept well informed by the dispatcher regarding the shipment of our vehicle. The driver contacted us the day before delivery to confirm our availability for the next day. Despite the break down they still provided the car within the timeframe that we needed it.
