I emailed Aaron and he promptly replied within minutes. He sent over the documents to electronically sign, and a week later scheduled my car for pick up. He was always available to answer my many questions and I really appreciated that. The driver arrived within the time scheduled and picked up my car, delivered as promised, and the car was in the same state it was initially shipped. Within this app they apply little yellow dots to indicate damage. Within these little yellow dots are two-letter codes. TAKE THE TIME TO READ THE CODES my driver was a little free and easy with the dots And because I couldn't see the codes on his phone until I got the bill of lading as a pdf, I didn't see that he had marked a chip (CH) in the windshield as a crack (CR). THAT SAID, the car arrived as sent, only a little road dust. Delivered TO MY DOOR on my tight street in queens all the way from Houston. second, get a receipt from driver However you pay. but this is a note for stupid people like me who forget stuff when they're in a rush. side note - despite the warning and statement that they don't take household goods in the car, the Accord behind me was stuffed full and the driver said nothing. I put a couple tool boxes on the floor too. All arrived safely but no doubt, you do this at your own risk. But it was nice not to ship the tool boxes from Texas. these were the only people I called. The price and process convinced me. their insurance is third party only. So it only covers your deductible fyi. Ask for a certificate of insurance from their recommended trucker. But you have to be covered by your own insurance, so just call. Most cover. (Progressive and All State in our case)

The communication via email, text and voicemail from Scott and staff was professional with clear intent. I did appreciate the app for before and after transport pictures of each section of the vehicle. My assigned driver was pleasant and also had good communication about ETA. But there was literally no problems. They packaged all of my household items very neat and secure. If you have belongings that you care about then I would definately call Long Distance Movers. They took there time and did not rush. You can tell by watching them that they know what they are doing. These guys are professionals at this from what i could see. I had a huge armoir that is an antique and very heavy and fragile, they handled it in a very suprising way. They had absolutely no room to move it out, but they had a method that worked and didnt even scratch a corner or a door. We also had a fun time with the crew. However, it was not perfect. Two major negative experiences: 1) the drop off contractor did not have two of my boxes - he had to return to the mother truck to pick them up. Review your delivery carefully and make sure they have everything 2) two of my pieces of furniture arrived damaged. My dresser's knobs were broken off (not fixable) and my bike frame was bent (fixable but a royal pain) I liked Long Distance Movers and I guess no moving company is perfect?

As I was looking on yelp I came across this company and requested a quote.  I received a quote back in no time and the price per mile shipped beat out all their competitors in the area. They were able to pick up my car right away and they also insured that my car would make it safe to the new owner. I really appreciated that they showed me photos of the equipment that they use to transport all the cars they handle. Car shipping seems like a hassle but the whole process was extremely effortless. Beware. I'm having the most awful time with them right now. I bought a new car from a dealership…read morein Kansas and the dealership, Long McArthur Ford arranged shipping to my home in Utah. UZ Auto Trans Inc'ls original promised delivery date came and went. I got a text from their employee Tim, which I am happy to share with anyone, where he told me it was delayed because the truck broke down with hydraulic problems and they would maybe deliver it by next weekend. I looked at the the location of the car on my Ford app. The car was at UZ Auto's business location in Denver, so, I suspected that Tim's excuse about the truck breaking down was not the truth, so, I called him out and told him I didn't think he was being honest. Then I got a call from another employee of theirs, Alex, who confessed that there was not a truck breakdown and the car was just sitting at their lot in Denver while they try to get more cars to ship to fill up a truck to head west to Utah and other western states. Once they pick up your car and have it on their truck they have you hostage. They don't seem to care at all about their original promised shipping delivery date. They apparently have no problems disregarding their promissed obligations and just letting cars sit on their lot in Denver until they can fill a truck, however long that takes. They admitted they lied at first about a truck hydraulic breakdown and they are attempting to give me all kinds of excuses and trying to do their best, but in the end, when pressed, Alex made it clear that they have no intention to deliver this car until they can put together a full load and timeframe that works for them. I hope the car arrives at some point in the next few weeks and I really hope that whenever they do feel like getting around to delivering it that it arrives undamaged. I'm sure others have genuinely had good experiences with UZ Auto, but mine has been beyond terrible and the employees have not been professional or helpful, and Tim lied to me in writing and Alex voluntarily confirmed that Tim lied to me, but that they would deliver the car only when they get enough cars for a full load and on their time frame. And Long McArthur Ford in Kansas, who arranged the transportation with UZ Auto has done nothing of of note to try to get UZ Auto to deliver the car in any kind of timely way, or maybe they have tried but UZ Auto is stonewalling them too??? The foregoing is entirely my own personal opinion and perspective, based on my experience, and anyone thinking of using UZ Auto or allowing a car dealership they are purchasing from to use UZ Auto, should do your own careful research and form your own opinion before using them. I will likely contact USDOT, the Colorado Attorney General office of consumer protection, the Better Business Bureau and leave as many truthful reviews like this one wherever I can in an attempt to protect others. If anything changes my opinion, positive or negative, I will happily follow up on this review.
