I drive from San Clemente for Aileen! I'm super picky and have tried so many local lash artists to the point of ending up in Lake Forest for new options! She does them exactly how I like them and both eyes always look exactly the same. I've had previous experiences where my eyes don't match at all and they have told me "our eyes are sisters not twins". True, but not an excuse to look like each eye was done by a different person on a different day lol. Also I'd like to add that small details matter to me, I like that they wear masks when working so close to your face (I've also left some artists that did exceptional work but had awful breath) and, they put a towel over your forehead so that they're hands/wrists aren't resting on your skin the whole time which I'm sure can cause break-outs for some people. She spends the entire amount of time on my eyes and sometimes I go for a 1 week fill knowing I don't need much but she still works on them for them entire hour. Not to keep bashing others, but I've also paid $100+ for 1 week fills that they say are one hour appointments and then they only work on them for 10 minutes and charge the full amount. After a 4 year hiatus from lashes, I was extremely nervous to try a new place and a new lash lady. I found Shine Lash Beauty on Yelp - the reviews were good, it is close to my house, and the ease of booking appointments online were the biggest deciding factors for me to give them a try. The lobby is inviting - complimentary bottled waters & chocolates. Price list is also very clear. The fill price varies depending on how many days it's been. But all very transparent. Nice and relaxing spa music. It is a big open room with about 6 beds, with individual lash stations. They have a neck pillow and blankets. My lash tech was Aileen. She explained all the different lengths and styles. I showed her a photo of how I had them done before and she knew exactly what to do. She is also so much quicker than what I remembered. I get so many compliments on how full yet natural my lashes look and how it accentuates my face perfectly. I've been back 4x since my 1st visit and I always make sure it's with Aileen. I went to shine lash beauty for lash extensions for my best friend's wedding. I had lash extensions before, so I knew what to expect. I came with inspo photos and talked through what I was envisioning with my tech, Aileen. She was patient, understanding and professional. She did a great job on my lashes. I like how she let me pick the lengths to show me what it would look like. I will say, the lashes didn't turn out like the inspo photos, but I still really like them! I only got extensions again for the special occasion, but if I were to continue getting extensions regularly, I would continue going to shine lash beauty! Liki got a lot of great reviews, so I decided to book with her. When I arrived to my appointment, Liki greeted me and explained the different styles of lashes she could apply on me. She then led me to the area she would be doing my lashes. She was so kind and sweet, and so accommodating! Definitely quality work and would definitely recommend however they're a little off on their timing. It had only been three weeks. I went in on 6 November then went back on 29th of November and my tech told me I was on my first day of week four.
