He also worked with the gutter installer to schedule - and then reschedule when weather didn't cooperate - meeting him on-site to ensure a change I requested was handled correctly. The entire process only took two days (roof on day 1; gutters on day 2) and I wasn't even in town for any of it! Insurance claims are never fun but this one was 100% pain-free, thanks to Scott. Mathew and his team has replaced the the roof on my primary residence in South Park Hill as well as that of a rental property we own in North Park Hill. Our historic property in South Park Hill included the primary house roof, as well as our 920 square foot carriage house roof. The North PH house is a historic single story bungalow. Despite the presence of older, prexisting damage to the roofing, Mathew was able to negotiate with our claims adjuster for a comprehensive and thorough roof repair for all three roofs. Mathew walked with the adjuster and showed him all the roof damage (both the old and new). He was able to skillfully bolster the argument for approval of total roof replacement, but he also advocated for other necessary upgrades, including new decking, a high quality synthetic underlayment, and importantly, the Class 4 Impact Resistant Shingles, at no additional cost. The main roof on the South PH property had complex framing with hips, valleys, and dormers, as well numerous penetrations, and multiple chimneys. These required exact and intricate cuts to align everything properly. The total roof tear-off and replacement exposed a number of hidden issues with framing, decking, and water damage. All existing issues were addressed and repaired with attention to current codes and skilled craftmanship. Mathew facilitated all the communications between the insurance company and ourselves, and coordinated the entire process to make the project both positive and seamless.

A roofer recommended by my insurance agent said the roof was damaged but insufficient evidence it was due to hail damage. I had Brian look and he recommended filing the claim. The claim was approved without any problem. Brian's price was very reasonable. Easy to work with. No contract required until the insurance company approved the work. The work was done within three weeks of the claim being filed. He used Owens Corning shingles. Roof looks nice. It has been through two rainstorms, no leaks. I checked with the city and the roof passed inspection, no issues. All in all I am very satisfied with the work and the process, and highly recommend Mile High Roofing Services. Posting this review I saw there is company with a similar name called Mile High Roofing Inc. located in Arvada, that is not the company I used. I heard nothing back. I texted on June 24 and July 7. I called the office on June 26, June 29, July 1, July 8 and July 24. I also tried emailing. First I got no replies, only voicemail. Then I finally got a call back saying the office person was out due to an emergency and that they would get right on it. When I called again, I was told she had no idea why it was taking so long and would be in touch with me in 2-3 days. That was on July 24 and as of today, August 27, I heard nothing and have hired someone else. I told them if they didn't want to do this job for some reason to just tell me, not leave me hanging. They didn't even honor that. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and uncaring of people's time. I can't imagine how horrible the work must be with this little care to details. Avoid at all costs!
