There's a lunch menu with cheaper prices, but also a full dinner menu if you'd prefer that. I ordered the charsiu pork and was REALLY happy with it. The pork was a bit on the fattier side, but the flavoring was spot on. The rice was cooked perfectly, and the side dipping sweet soy sauce was amazing. The meal came with a fried egg and some bok choi. I was in heaven! This is some of the best charsiu I've had for a long time. My other two friends both ordered noodles - there were some flavors they felt were lacking. The mini shrimp commonly used for flavoring (we call it xia mi in Mandarin - but they do look a little freaky and could scare people unfamiliar with it away) was a different type so it just lacked a little bit of additional oomph. I do have to say, both noodle dishes (Mee Siam & Char Koay Teow) tasted extremely healthy and used fresh ingredients - but that could have been the part that was lacking. I think the really oily and flavorful street food feel was what was missing. But don't get me wrong, both noodle dishes were yum! Just missing a few key things to make it authentic Asian street food.

For 17€, I was able to get their lunch time special of one ramen and an appetizer. I got the kimchi arancini and it was absolutely delicious and something unique that I had never had before. The ramen was also very good and extremely filling. I couldn't finish both so I had a good amount of leftovers to take home for dinner making it an even better deal. Highly highly recommend. The restaurant is more dimly lit and chill. Could be the perfect place to meet up with friends bring a date etc. definitely recommend if you're in the mood for Ramen!

Or maybe I just missed Asian food since we had been away from home for almost a week. Anyways, we decided to walk into Ramen Bar and have lunch. We were seated right away, but in this weird alcove with a broken light hanging down, so it was kinda awkward to find a comfy spot. We all ended up getting a set menu plus an app and some drinks. The gyoza was tasty. Satisfied the dumpling craving. I didn't care for the tostadas since they were kinda sweet. I did enjoy the ramen tho. Broth had good flavor. Tho I wanted more heat in my red one. The chilli beef one was savory and meaty. I really enjoy that one. Good food, Not the best seating comfort wise. Plus the place is very dark. Still glad I got to try some noodle soup in Dublin. REVIEW #4113
