You know the age old saying, don't you? "When in Dublin, eat ramen." Oh, sorry. I'm scatterbrained…read morefrom the separation from Kokoro, a ramen bar emporium in, you guessed it, Ireland. It might not be a prophetic catch phrase, but I never expected a ramen joint like this during my travels to Dublin. The dense menu of ramens galore nearly suffocated my appetite because they all sounded magnificent. The cons in service were entirely made up for when these deluxe bowls of ramen landed on our table. The size gargantuan, the aroma intoxicating, and satisfaction guaranteed. Garlic Lovers Ramen - It starts with Tonkotsu AND Miso broth, which was redonkulous. Then the fried onion, grated garlic and black garlic oil elevated the bowl into one of the most intense ramen flavors I've had. The grilled chicken was odd, as expected, it just dried out too quickly. The Seasoned Egg (phenomenal!) tied the entire dish together. The Garlic Lovers Ramen from Kokoro officially landed a certified place in my ramen hall of fame. #BeastFromTheEast may have hindered our Dublin trip, but Kokoro warmed our souls during our final night. Avoid the tourist spots, and check out an industry favorite!

Hurrahh Kokoro has come to the south side ! Ok so they aren't going to win an award for the best…read moresushi in the world as it's prepacked but for me is the best of the pre made stuff in Dublin. I can run in and grab a tray to have at my desk. They have great value trays and lots of little individually wrapped sushi pieces if you're feeling extra hungry. They also have wasabi mayo that I have a minor addiction to. Now that they have opened near to my work I've had a chance to try the hot food and I'm seriously impressed. I had chicken katsu curry which was delish and great value at €9 for the curry, two pieces of sushi and a can. The staff are absolutely adorable - super friendly and enthusiastic and the restaurant itself is really bright and fresh - I will be a regular here without question

The staff was so accommodating and kind- went as far to grab me an individual space heater on that cold day. Delicious fresh food! Will come back, as I frequent Dublin and crave hotpot way too often:) It was 35€ for unlimited!

I went here for dinner with my partner and a couple of friends. We arrived around 5:30pm and left…read morearound 7pm. When we arrived we were greeted pretty quickly and brought to a table in the main dining room. We decided we wanted hot pot so we pressed the button and the server came out. We had a couple of questions about the menu (whether all of the broths were soy-based, I'm allergic to soy so this was important) and then ordered four hot pots. The server said it would be a bit because they had to clean off a table in the hot pot area so we waited. About ten minutes passed and another server told us we could go back to that area. We were brought to our table and told how the buffet works. All of the other unoccupied tables were still dirty and remained so until we left, so they didn't seem too pressed to clean up after people left. It was a bit odd. The food itself was alright. The meats in the raw buffet were labeled but none of the other ingredients were, so it was hard to know for sure what I was getting and whether it was free from soy or not. I feel fine now (a couple hours later) so I think it was safe, but only time will tell. They didn't keep the buffet super stocked up and we had to ask for some things to be restocked a couple of times. They said it was because they were busy but they weren't - there was only a handful of people there between both rooms. Overall this place was alright. It was my first hotpot experience so I don't have anything to compare it to, but my friends are big fans and they said it was alright but our local place in Oregon was better. There wasn't a whole lot of flavor in the broth so we had to add our own.
