I'm staying at a hotel nearby and decided to order dinner takeaway from Camile! Right off the bat, their packaging is very neat and cute. Everything was individually packaged in environmentally conscious containers. There were no utensils included, so make sure you ask. I ordered two dishes. The starters included the two-piece Sriracha Chicken Wings. The flavors were nice, the wings are very small, but understandable since it was only about €2~€3. My main dish was Green Curry with Duck and Jasmine Rice. The curry was incredibly creamy--both the consistency and the taste. I do have a strong caveat with the taste. It wasn't terrible, but the curry itself was salty. I might be picky with my Asian food, as an Asian person coming from the US. That's the main reason why I knocked a star off, because it is the *main* dish. For drinks, I just ordered kombucha and water. They had a nice selection to choose from. I did notice that if you select a Meal Deal, the only drinks included are the sodas, so I couldn't even select a simple still water drink. Being a tourist, I would probably order elsewhere to explore the different restaurants. The cost is also on the more expensive side. I would give 3.5 stars if I could. read more

I'm definitely sure I'm not the only one that's fallen in love with Camile. After just a few weeks open the lunch queue is out the door. The food is just delicious. It's probably too expensive for me for everyday, but they do have a quick lunch offer for less than a tenner. It's mostly takeaway but there is some space to sit, and unlike lots of places it feels airy and comfortable, despite all the people ordering the fud. The food itself is thai and you can see how it got voted the healthiest takeaway last year. There's delicious curries, salads and noodle dishes... and I'm going there right now! read more

Had one of those uncontrollable crazy cravings for thai food that I get once in a while and luckily I was near Camile. It hasn't been open that long, and it was my first time in there. Cute interior! Lots of colourful cushions and pillows. As for the food, it's definitely on the more expenisive side of take away food. My red curry cost me €12,50 and it wasn't even an overly large portion. It tasted pretty good, fresh ingredients and the right amount of spice. I do think there are better thai options around town though for better value, so won't rush back. read more

Camile really is my guilty pleasure. Love their meals under 600 cals. Especially the Pad Prik Haeng Beef it's a winner. So tasty and practically guilt free. Having tried numerous Thai restaurants and take always Camile hits the nail on the head for me. It does take an age for delivery so I much prefer ringing ahead for collection. read more

Tasty and quick. I've been to Camile's many times. First spring 2016 and most recently, this summer several times. I was in town for work for an extended period of time and Camile's was a great place to swing by on my way home from work when I didn't feel like cooking. Generally good feelings about this place ! They do a great student deal and the coffee is 250 square, and is lovely! The food itself is good quality, and they are always busy which is a good sign! I wouldn't, however, pay full price for the food I just think it is slightly on the expensive side ! The lunch menu is good, and as I said before, so is the student deal - 2 mains for 17 and two drinks. The seating is nice and comfortable. The service can be slightly iffy here - sometimes absolutely perfect, other ones a little standoffish. Overall great though read more

A guilt free takeaway is always a great Friday night option. The menu is really varied and could suit anyone's taste. I had the Singapore noodles which were delicious. We were waiting for our order for less than 10 minutes. You also have the option is eating in which is nice. Nice layout in the restaurant. I made an order for delivery, paid online and never received the food. Called them twice and finally manager got on the call(after an hour of waiting) with me saying that the driver called the buzzer- phoned me and i never answered! ! So not only i didn't get the food delivered i was also given lies about the delivery. I'll never order food from this place again. read more

So, this place is actually just a bit shite. They charge €11 for main courses that are dry and tasteless. While they have good coffee beans, their baristas don't really know what they're doing with it, and the coffee comes out bland. read more

Popped into this newly opened outlet of theirs to grab some take home after work. Was pleasantly surprised to see there was a big seating area, nice and open plan. They even have a little coffee dock. Also had craft beer from Wicklow which was extra brownie points from me. Most importantly the food was great! Will be back for sure. read more

Probably my favourite takeaway in Dublin! Delicious Thai food, with massive portions delivery is promised within 40 minutes and this is usually the case- however last week we ended up waiting over two hours for our food due to a mix-up. Unfortunately the driver was not particularly helpful, but the food made up for it! Quick tip for students- they offer a student deal with two mains and prawn crackers for €20, Just make sure you mention your a student at the beginning of the order! read more

I'm always a little apprehensive about Thai food since I've had awful luck with poor quality in other takeouts, but when Camile opened near college I said I'd give it a go. I'm so glad I did! At this stage I've triad a reasonable chunk of their menu and I haven't had anything even remotely disappointing. The meat is always perfectly cooked, the veg tastes fresh, and the sauces are never dull or bland. The interior is inviting, with a casual, colourful atmosphere. 'Dear oh dear oh dear' as Gaybo used to say - where do I start. If an Irish person went to Bangkok, Beijing,or Bangalore and saw 'Irish breakfast roll' advertised but got instead a flatbread wrap with pork, spicy biscuit,spinach and soy sauce, what would they think ?? Unfortunately Camile (and a LOT of other Irish 'ethnic' food establishments ) think that 'fusing' different Asian and SE Asian menus will fool the Irish foodie into having a 'genuine Asian' meal. We got 5 different dishes to sample - Crispy Hoi Sin Duck rolls with plum sauce 5/10, Khao Pad Nua 4/10 (7/10 if they added soy sauce sachet ),Tom Yam Goong 1/10 (they don't include LOTS OF SALT on the description of the dish !! ) . Po Pia Sot Salmon 1/10 ( needed a magnifling glass to find the salmon,and too much strong vegetable killed the taste of the microscopic pieces of salmon !) . 'Crispy Pork Belly' 0/10 (Crispy BATTER on tiny strips of 'off' pork - stomach cramp and ...... resulted !!!! ) On the menu list it says 'VOTED BEST THAI IN IRELAND 2015' - BY WHO ? It doesn't say who gave them that accolade . I KNOW starting/running a food business is tough BUT, IMO 'Ethnic' food establishments should try to be 95% original, not 40% + 'Irish' additions that dilute it's originality. Staff seemed to be a mix of 'South Asian' (NOT SE Asian/Thai!) and Irish, but fancy uniforms with dickie-bows cannot improve the quality of the food itself. Probably the best Thai takeaway I've had in Dublin - pad thai is very tasty and the pad prick hang with prawns is also worth a go.

Descent Thai takeout. The po pia rolls were the best thing I had, will def order those again. Pad Thai was just OK, I had to put some peanut sauce and soy on it to give it some more flavor. Chicken skewers were pretty good. Going to give them another try and order off of the curry menu. read more
