YES! Take me here every night! Love thai food and this place does not disappoint one bit... Great menu options including a fantastic early bird option. Food is generously portioned, well flavoured... Authentic, which I love! If seated by the window, you can look out across the pond at Dundrum Town Centre which has a nice water feature plus at night is light up really well. Otherwise, the dinning area away from the window offer you a really cosy, comfortable area. Staff are very attentive, service has been top notch whenever I visit here. Highly recommended and a place I like to go to when in the area.

Very busy place indeed! But I loved it..! The place is gorgeous and I was impressed by its decoration and finesse. I was here with a group of girls and we had the best time. The staff were very attentive and made sure all orders arrived at the same time - we were a big group of bout 14 ladies. The food was just amazing. I had vegetable spring rolls for starter and chicken massaman curry as main. Both were very very good and I totally recommend it. I was surprised that they had a nice selection of beers and I ordered a local Thai beer. Not very good actually and expensive (5.80 300ml bottle). But the wine list was something to watch for - prices were reasonable. I believe this is a perfect place for a romantic dinner as well S2

my friend raved about this place to me lots of times, shehad gonewith someof her asian friends who also loved it, now if this restaurant is recommended by a thai person it must be good! so eventually i got the chance to go dow here, i would definitely recommend booking in advance because the queue to get in was long! the interior was just lovely very thai inspired in termsof the furnishings and decor. we had a brilliant seat that over looked the mill pond so wegot to people watchin between courses, nothing better than that is there!? the food was really nice! this is a great restaurant for vegetarians as there is loads of choice and lots of vegetable based options. they have normal deserts too, the one thing that always disappointsme about asian food is the lack of deserts that are bad forou (ie taste great!) but not here, they cater for us wetserners who need something yummy after a savoury main course!

This is the apple pie with fresh cream and vanilla ice cream and creme brûlée three ways with a side of biscotti. Desserts

This is definitely an authentic Thai restaurant, this place transported me back to Bangkok. We went there on a Saturday at 7:30 p.m and it was packed, we didn't have a reservation but they were still able to accommodate us. They told us that they just needed the table back at 9pm which was not a problem because we didn't need to stay that long as our food was served to us shortly after we ordered. We ordered chicken pad thai and thai chicken with cashew, the food was served piping hot and tasted how they should. The place itself is elegant and beautifully decorated, this would be a great place to bring and impress a date. The staff who served us was nice, she even asked me if I was from Thailand too . This is definitely one of my favourite restaurants and I highly recommend it if you're wanting to try out authentic Thai cuisine.

So I came here and visited the Candlelight bar and I thought it was a really elegant space with plenty of cozy areas and good mood lighting. Lots of tables to over which to sit and chat and sip some of the creative cocktails. I tried some of the food too, the beef in red wine and ginger prawns both being two very tasty stand out dishes for me.

Your Thai is My Thai And My Thai is Your Thai…read moreIt would take an eternity to break us And the carbs of Peek Kai Tod couldn't hold us... So for the second part of my stay in Dublin, I decided to try the Beacon, a swanky-hip boutique hotel on the outskirts of Dublin in the Sandyford area. I didn't bargain for it being so far away from the city center, so much so that even my Nigerian cab driver got lost getting there. Well, it was about 8PM, and I just got back from a two-day tour of Galway and Connemara. I was anxious to check into the hotel after spending the night in a youth hostel, so of course, my dinner options were pretty much limited to the restaurant at the hotel. Welcome to My Thai. Sleek, modern and clubby, My Thai is pretty much the type of restaurant I usually avoid like the plague because the clientele is usually young, slick and thoughtless. I was right, as tables were filled with twenty-somethings dressed in unflattering outfits and looking close to wasted around 9PM before their hardcore partying was about to start. I was gratefully seated in a corner table away from the blaring Euro-funk music by a poker-faced hostess who didn't seem to be enjoying her job much that night. The menu was fairly robust with a lot of items that appeared quite tempting on paper. After much perusing, I settled on two things, first the € 5.75 Vegetable Spring Rolls, which was my mistake since it clearly stated "deep fried filo pastry" as the wrapping versus my expectation of simple rice paper. An oily appetizer stuffed with carrots, shredded cabbage and coriander leaves and accompanied by a too-sweet chili cause (see photo). Things got better with the € 15.25 Duck Noodle, basically a bowl of flat rice noodles in a spicy broth filled with mint and lemongrass (see photo). There was plenty of duck, as there should be for the extravagant price point. And frankly that was what I wanted after a long bus ride from Galway. Your Thai is Your Thai And Your Thai is Your Thai It would take an eternity to convince me That the carbs in that spring roll couldn't bloat me... FOOD - 3 stars...merely passable Thai but pass me the duck AMBIANCE - 2.5 stars...dark, loud and clubby...so not me SERVICE - 3 stars...I couldn't see who was serving me TOTAL - 3 stars...gee I suppose if I came back to the Beacon...

With the sharing menu it's a number of dishes all served together and you can try a little of everything. We had drink order taken and within 10 minutes we had a tipple in hand, then the food began to arrive... Holy smoky! Starters had everything peppered calamari, tempura vegetables, spring rolls, skewered chicken, steamed dumplings on the list goes on. The chef came out to introduce the plates and offer additional spices / condiments. The tempura peppered calamari was great plus steamed dumplings were my fave (but all were truly yum) Next on with our mains, we had a nice 15-20 minute between which was great. The mains began to arrive and it felt like there was endless dishes, we were treated to everything from green curry, pad Thai, crispy duck, stir beef, lamb curry, noodles & variation of rices. Couldn't fault any of it, was so much to choose from and they really didn't skimp on the portions, in fact we wondered how we'd ever finish. The chef came by the table 2-3 times over the evening which was a fantastic touch, the group was very impressed plus he nicely stayed around for a group picture. My husband works just around the corner and I'll be making a point of returning here again, very soon. Happily recommend to others

I worked nearby the "small little gem" as another Yelper aptly put it. I was looking for decent places where I could grab a quick lunch and be satisfied with what I got for myself. I walked in that day and was served by the elderly gentleman who I till to this day haven't properly introduced myself. Even though these are the circumstances, he knows my custom order by heart which he recommended the first day itself. I walked in not knowing what to order and he told me "Try our Red curry." I decided to listen to him. He asked me if I wanted rice or noodles and I didn't know what to go for. He recommended I try a mixture of both. God bless you my man. That was one amazing lunch. I fell in love with the place. Modest by all means, not a place anyone would notice as it is hidden among all the big shot restaurants in the bustle of Baggot Street. The portions he serves are large and most definitely something that would satiate even the hungriest of souls. I couldn't recommend this place more. A must try if you're in the area for a good and filling lunch. Beware, you won't find any of the other Thai places in Dublin good once you try Yum Thai as it definitely is one of a kind.
