I don't think i want to rate the jeans but here's some feedback... I am no completely clear what would possess anyone to purchase $345 jeans. I tried on two but i am a bit too thick for these jeans...i'm a size 29. maybe if i were a 26, the look would be different and i might have felt myself more... I tried on the ones with a little more detail and well the back pockets did not rest properly on my rear (notice i didn't say ass because my booty is average) and the pockets were like placed for a flat rear...you know how the pockets are on the crack of the butt and upper thigh... yeah..not cool! . Also the jeans weren't long enough. i am a little leggy for 5'5" so my thighs swallowed this up! haa. There jeans appear to favor low rise not high waist-ed cut. Paige had only one jean type i was interested in trying....but i still gotta ask...for $345, what am i paying for? gippers creepers.... Citizen of Humanity and the less obnoxious cuts (slimmer, no bright white thread mark, no branding on the pockets) of Joe Jeans are a much better cut and fit for curvous bodies. I love their slim cuts that taper on he ankle and can be paired with a good heel.

Scooter is God's gift for women who need the perfect pair of boots…read more Here's the deal, I am a tiny girl, only 4'11 and convinced that most boots, especially thigh high boots, are just a distant dream. I strolled in, not for the first time at this brand, for the purpose of looking longingly at the array of boots made in the most supple leather in the industry. The only thing I've ever purchased from Stuart Weitzman was a pair of cream cork wedge pumps eons ago. I picked a "safe" option, the classic black leather 50/50, to try for fun. What a blessing it was to be helped by Scooter. He proved me wrong with his knowledge, patience and humor. He calmed my fears and guided me. He taught me all the tricks, the right and wrong way to put a pair of boots. I was feeling 90% about a pair of boots, he was not pushy and suggested I put it on hold till the next day to retry with the correct outfit. The next day, I left the happiest girl in the world, with a pair of lovely Black Leather Highlands. Everyone in the store seemed to have an exuberant energy and were very kind. If my experience with Scooter is any indication of the excellence of the salespeople and management there, you will be well taken care of. It's been weeks since, and I still smile remembering my good experience when I look upon my new boots. Also the recent renovation is tres chic and no longer so dated! The store is large, airy and beautiful. Apparently it is the first store in NY with the new store concept. Bravo Stuart Weitzman Madison Ave!

Despite the red carpet leading through the door, no other customers were in the store on a Saturday afternoon. Employee came over and asked what I was looking for. I needed a blazer, as I was in town for a wedding and had forgotten mine when packing. I told him. His response: "Ahh, a blazer. Well, how about we look at suits? A handsome man like you should get matching pants. I've got some over here starting around $800." *gestures to rack* Me: "No I've got pants. Just need the blazer. And that's outside my price range." Him: "We have lovely Italian suits of all kinds that you will love." Me: "No I just need the blazer." Him: "What do you want to spend?" I told him. Then he let me know they didn't have anything that would work for me because (he says) everything in the store was fine Italian (read other reviewers' reviews to learn more on this) and too pricy. He recommended a few other stores nearby. I'm not offended by this - I truly appreciate the honesty. I'd rather neither of us waste our time. That said, the sales approach is odd. Without knowing my price range, my size/what was available in my size, or color/pattern I was looking for, the gentleman started pushing a specific suit on me.....which, not to belabor the point, wasn't addressing my clearly-stated need for a blazer. I felt like I wasn't being listened to - which generally doesn't motivate a buyer. Hopefully this is not normal. I was here once and this was my experience, though. In summation, my time here was very short, and wasn't pleasant, though, I appreciate the honesty at the end of the conversation and the recommendations for other shops. THAT need was actually addressed.

The guy Avi is a real hustler and very aggressive salesman - you might have walked in trying to look at a belt and he's trying to get you to buy a suit. Here's why you should't buy from this store - 1) the suits don't even say where they are manufactured (i.e. made in italy or china etc). That's suspicious 2) I bought cufflinks there for 50 bucks (apparently they retail for "150 or 200"). Guess what? I found them on amazon for new for 12.99!! 3) One of the shirts I bought was called Joseph Bach - that brand doesn't even exist! The only time I found it was on ebay for a used shirt for SIX DOLLARS. Hardly a premium italian shirt? I actually bought a suit, cufflinks and shirt from him but after I found out I was ripped off, I actually went back the next day and confronted him in the middle of the store with his customers in plain sight asking for my money back and showing him proof that he ripped me off. I (luckiliy) was able to get a refund back so I'm happy but their policy is supposed to be final sale so buyer beware!!!
