Love this Dicks showroom. Fantastic location. Right next to Woodbridge mall. Tons of parking available outside ... it is a huge shop . Two floors and so many options to shop. Nike , adidas , underarmor and so many other brands and apparels are available. Quality is awesome but there are no Discounts or sale ! It's slightly pricey !! They have lots of shoe options . Got a Nike air for my son and he loves it . Service could be better . Very few employees to help !! Billing is quick . Overall a good experience.. 4 stars read more

I really don't understand all the negative reviews. My experience wasn't all that bad. I needed a pair of boots and they were in stock at this location as opposed to the dicks closer to my home. I ordered online and seamlessly picked up in person at their pickup area. Was greeted by an associate with a smile. Can't ask for more. I did take a walk through the store. This store is easily 3x the size of my local store which never has anything I need in stock. I like this location and will probably drive that much further to come here instead. read more

My friend was looking for a ski mask, so we decided to come to this location as it was close by. Staff: The staff members do not greet you or thank you for shopping with them. We asked one staff member where the ski masks were, and he told us that it was in the middle by the cash registers. We asked another staff member and he said he had no idea. How do these people work here and do not know anything? Then you have a group by the shoes talking to each other and are completely useless to us. Another group of staff members upstairs were even more useless by the bicycles as they stood their talking to each other. We asked an elderly staff member, and he told us it was upstairs, and he was the only staff member that knew where the ski masks were located. These people do not smile or anything but stand around talking to each other. Overall: I will never come back to this location ever again as these staff members have no customer service or product knowledge at all. read more

This place sucks. I'd rather go barefoot than buy shoes from Dick's just because of their customer service. The customer service is terrible. I wanted advice for buying shoes and all the workers were hanging out and laughing in the storeroom. When I finally got help, they sold me shoes that were not released yet, so I couldn't even buy them. They kept wasting my time with their ridiculousness. They couldn't even find the shoes they offered me the first time because they are so forgetful. What a complete waste of my time. I even had to call another store to let them know that I wasn't receiving any help. It ruined my day beyond comprehension. read more

West Long Branch NJ store. Wanted to buy new shoes. Under staffed. Long wait time. You have to enter into a kiosk the shoe you want to try and wait for the salesman (who was ignoring everyone) to bring it out to you. They are not allowed to bring out multiple shoes, one at a time only. Disappointed in the service and the way their system is set up. I walked out and went next door to DSW and found one of the same exact shoes for $40 less and they were there in the aisle ready to be tried on. Made a stupid decision of buying a firearm at this dicks, got a call to come pick it up I get here and no one has a pink card( it's card that allows you to sell firearms,ammunition,and be behind the gun counter.) What I don't understand is if you don't have a pink card to hand me over the firearms I just purchased why are you behind the counter ? Not only that the pink cards aren't even displayed the way they should be, by that I mean they are not displayed at all. What a joke. read more

I went here yesterday since my tennis racquet was broken and needed to get a new one. This is my favorite location because it's bigger than the Union store and has two floors. The store itself is clean and very well-maintained. This is also the place that sells merchandise for hunting. They even carried some Rutgers-related merchandise here too! :D Most of the prices are reasonable, but that depends on what you're trying to buy. Customer service here was fine as well. I shop at Dick's all over the country. There is one on Rte 18 and they made several mistakes. The Woodbridge Mall location has provided me with flawless service over at least a hundred transaction. I have used most departments although concentrating my shopping upstairs in the lodge and fishing departments. I have purchased several rifles and a shotgun from Dicks. The Woodbridge location has everything I have seen in flyers and once brought in a special item for me going beyond normal service. Based on a major mistake and total foul up of the Rte 18 east Brunswick location I only shop at the Woodbridge Mall location. They corrected Rte 18's screw up, after I gave Rte 18 a chance to correct their customer service inadequacy. The Rte 18 store manager had terrible customer service skills and the department clerk at Woodbridge Mall Dick's who worked on my issue was professional and accurate. Honestly, me and my buddy waited over 30 just for a sales person to show up and help at the counter. Even after asking someone and calling the front desk multiple times. It was a ghost town. Only saw customers, only ever saw 2 employees for the entire store read more

Beautiful store but was understaffed. My girlfriend and I were both looking for what I'll call "high end" running shoes and we walked out empty handed: there was only ONE guy helping men's and women's shoe customers. I saw a few other people walk away with nothing. As we were leaving there were 3 or 4 idle employees by the door "bs"ing. There's your problem right there: bad management. read more

The worst, the absolute worst! Bought a mountain bike on Cyber Monday. Someone called me to tell me that it would take 5-7 business days to assemble. I said, that's fine. They said they would notify me when ready. Called 7 days later to check since I didn't get notified. After spending 60 min (!!!!) on the phone with them they told me they re-stocked the item and that the item was out stock now. WTF????? Store is a disaster, and staff is completely inattentive. Stopped in with the intention of spending money on some new protective gear and buying some new workout clothes. The shopping floor was a disgusting, disorganized mess. I had to hunt high and low for a fitting room (why were there men in the "women's fitting room? Either go unisex, or enforce the separation), and then I had to wait forever for an attendant. The women's bathroom look like it hadn't been cleaned in days. Needless to say, my experience was a poor one and I took my business elsewhere. read more

Dick's Woodbridge. Beautiful large store, horrible customer service. First young female associate we spoke w was sullen, no smile. Put a sourness to our experience from the start. We were there to test out bats in the Hittrax. We had purchased a bat at the Union Dicks two weeks ago (smaller store but always good customer service). But his new bat just wasn't right. So wanted to test out bigger bats and compare. Apparently not allowed. We asked to speak to the Manager and the young man was also unwilling to work with us. Apparently they are planning to start renting out the Hittrax and you can not bring in your bat. We were not looking to play around with our Dick's bat of two weeks but to make sure our next purchase was an educated one. We already dropped $100 and about to drop more...but not at Woodbridge. This place is filled with the dumbest employees in the world. I dropped off racquets to be restrung and 3 months later they're not done. Why even take the racquets if you don't plan in restringing them. The employees when you call up don't even know what a racquet is. read more

This store is huge! Granted we got there upon opening, but the store was neatly presented. There was plenty to choose from, especially with two levels. Everything is sectioned off by brand and sport. They do have sales racks, but they could offer more sale items & give slightly better discounts. I was able to find everything I was looking for. The line moved quickly. Definitely a better selection than other stores, like Modell's. I'm sure I'll be back. read more

good place too shop for all sports needs, i have bought softball equip here and i have purchased several golf clubs and drivers. as with most sports stores look for the special deals, and browse the clearence items. Staff was friendly, at the golf center the gentleman who was a golf pro was helpful with my friend who never played b4 and he let me hit as many balls and test as many drivers as i wanted. read more

Not a happy customer, I rarely give reviews, this is more to vent on this establishment, or maybe particularly in this location. First of, I purchased this pair of running shoes online to pick up in the store, it did show when I purchased it that the item was available to pick up in the store, so I paid and purchased it. I waited a couple of hours and just went around the mall until I got an email letting me know my order is ready, and since I've physically seen the pair in the store already, if think that I would be able to pick it up, having a race early the next morning. When I got to the store to let them know I'm picking it up, they told me I can't pick it up because the order has not reached their system. So I ended up not being able to get it until the next day, after the race. Now since I wasn't able to use it, I returned it, the only thing they gave me was a gift card of Dicks, and didn't give me a receipt of return! I cannot get my money back, wasn't able to use the shoes at all and for the said race and no return receipt whatsoever! Bad service! I work in customer service and would be the last person to complain but numerous times they have messed up my transactions with them! read more
