This DSW location seems to have the best selection of all DSW stores I've been to. The shoes are always neat and organized. Granted, I typically shop here during the week as it's close to my office. I'm not sure how the traffic here is on the weekend. The have a great selection, with many rows of shoes. The rows are wide enough so you won't be in someone's way if you stop to try on a pair on one of the benches. Even the clearance section here is much larger than any other DSW location I've been to. Cashier's are very rude and get loud with customers. On a Friday night I entered the store the 9:30pm they close at 10pm I was not going to buy anything I was waiting for a friend and just wanted browse. As soon as I entered the store the cashier did not even welcome me but yelled and said they would be closing at 10pm. I proceeded to tell her I was just waiting for someone and.would look for a bit then leave. As I was walking towards the front of the store at 9:40 shcalled me out and said 'miss you we close on 5 min's i said thank you for lettin me know. Meanwhile there were two sets of shoppers right down the aisle. Extremely bad customer service and corporate should know about this. read more

Love shoe shopping? This is the place to shop for sandals, boots, sneakers, dressy shoes, ballet shoes, hats, scarves, handbags, socks, legging, other accessories, etc. No matter what you are here to shop for, you must stop to the sales rack in the back. It's either a hit or miss depending on the luck of your shoe size but you'd be surprised what is sitting back there with a 30% to 60% off retail price. I have gone to several dsw locations and let just say this one is one of the better ones. There's plenty of parking spaces but is is a shared lot with Marshalls and bed & bath shoppers. On weekends there's always a long line at the cashiers but the line move quickly. The service is friendly. Pretty average dsw store with a wide selection of items and friendly staff. The merchandise is overall neatly arranged compared to other stores. Some of their sizes are out which is usually the case though but they offer to order them for you and can check if other stores have it in stock. read more

This particular DSW is phenomenal! Beautifully decorated, the selection seems to be larger than most, both women's and men's. There's a back room just for clearance. They carry high end shoes (Pucci, Mark Jacobs, Jimmy Choo) all the way to easy to find brands like Steve Madden and RocketDog. They also have every kind of footwear you'd need: heels, comfort/work shoes, sandals, boots, slippers, and sneakers. They also carry accessories like belts, wallets, and bags. Prices are good, but know that the Marshall's next store might have the exact pair you're eyeing for a better price. Do take a peek online prior to shopping as there may be a coupon available. You'll also be able to take your receipt and coupon in post purchase for a price adjustment. Be sure to join the DSW rewards program. You'll get certificates for every $1500 points you earn as well as other benefits like advance notices for sales. I love this store. It contains a huge variety of mens and women's shoes for all occasions. The handbags are a little pricey for my budget. When i find one I really like, it's usually in the $200-$300 range which is too much for me with the frequency I like to change my bag. But the shoes are in all price ranges. You can find some brand names at lower prices than in mall stores, and I recommend that if you see something you like in your size, to go ahead and buy it, because when you come back, it is likely to be sold out. If you like unusual styles, they have an extensive clearance section, with progressive percentages-off (Starting with 30% discount, then on to 40%, 50% and 60% off) as the weeks progress. I usually visit 3-4 times per year and rarely leave with fewer than 2 pairs of shoes or boots. Their rewards program is fun too, you get $10 or $25 off after a certain purchase threshold. It appears that each store is stocked by a local buyer, because I find differences in emphasis as far as new styles go between this store and the DSW near where I work. This is not as good of a DSW as the one near me. The staff seem okay. I didn't really need any help finding anything. However, the place is a mess with stocking their shoes. In almost every aisle. I was in. I saw lots of rows with the shoebox about to fall off the shelf. A lot of the boxes were broken, and staff didn't even stop to realize to fix it. I've purchased shoes & boots from DSW for over 15 plus years from DSW First my birthday past & I didn't make it in time to use my 10 gift - you would think after thousands of dollars spent here they would be inclined to reissue the lousy 10 bucks & mind you gaining me spending $$$ that exceeds 10 bucks. Where's the customer appreciation for keeping you in business - moreover I bought a pair of rain boots & spoke about that as well because my feet where soaking wet in my rain boots - long and behold the agent says they never entered my phone number to give me the points for my purchase - I'm extremely diligent about entering or providing my number - I find this disgusting & undervalued as a long time customer. Any place I can walk into, rampage up and down an aisle, find the shoes I like, and then grab a box of size 13's without interacting with a salesperson is awesome in my book. I get all my non-sock footwear here, be it my Vans, slippers or dress shoes. They just have a better selection than nearby stores like Payless (now out of business). Store representatives don't typically approach me, but I prefer it that way. I cringe when they call you up at the register by saying, "Next shoe lover," because I'm not one. Well. I love shoe shopping just like the next girl, but this dsw has gone downhill. sometimes I require a wide shoe. Dsw used to stock them. They (thankfully) have a sticker on the box indicating such. Or HAD. They had one pair of wide women's athletic shoes in the whole store. In a 10. Their clearance has gotten smaller, and does sometimes hold gems to be found. The sales people are helpful, although some act annoyed to be straightening up or working the register. Very deceptive advertising in store. Sale was Buy 1 Get 1 at 50% off on regular priced items. So I avoided the clearance section, my kids got excited about the boots they were getting and when I got to the register, no discount due to a brand exclusion and no other discount offered. I love DSW and will step in one whenever the opportunity presents itself. It is a chain retail store,so for the most part every one is pretty much the same. This one however didn't seem to have the sales or prices I find in other locations. Boo Also , I purchased a pair of boots and thanks to the cashier , didn't walk out with two right boots of different sizes. She was patient while we searched for the match which I appreciated. After buying the boots , I walked next door to Marahalls and browsed among the shoes when I spotted the SAME pair of boots I just bought for $50 cheaper ( I used coupons at DSW so really $20 cheaper but at their original price that's a huge difference! ) I was pretty disappointed and would have returned my DSW purchase but Marahalls didn't have the size I needed. It would benefit them to compare what local competitors are retailing same products for in order to live up to their name. read more

Had ordered shoes online to pick up in store, brought them home and decided I needed to get the next size up so I went back into the store to exchange them. I waited on line and when I told the woman I wanted to exchange for another size and she flatly said "did you check the shelf?" And I said no I'm not sure where they are could you just check the system to see if you have the size before I go off looking for them ? And she said "no the system isn't always accurate you should go look" and motioned the next person in line. So I go over to look and low and behold they had one pair not in my size. So I get back in line to get just return them. The girl then says she can order them online, and does the return / repurchase, putting the money onto a store card to use to purchase the shoes online. Apparently she didn't check to see if the size I needed was in stock before putting the refund onto a store card, and just took the shoes and handed me the store card. At this point I was pretty confused because now not only do I not have the shoes I came in for, but now I'm not getting a refund either ? I asked if she could refund the purchase to my card instead of the store card and she said "no I already refunded it to a store card so you can use that on our website." This is my new all time favorite DSW location. I had really lost faith in DSW's worldwide, and today my faith was restored. Awesome shoes...I must have tried on a good 50 pairs...and would have bought a lot of them if not for my concern for my wallet. I did pick up 2 pairs of awesome shoes, one a beautiful leather and tweed high heeled work shoe from Tahari for $40! Rock! Huge clearance section, ease of navigation, and the friendliest sales staff I have seen in a long long time. One girl came up to me as I teetered with boxes and gave me some big shopping bags and helped me arrange all my boxes in them, even though she knew I'd probably be leaving half of them on the floor after I tried them on. What no one has mentioned is that you shop by style in this store, then you have to figure out if they have it in your size. I find this very frustrating because I need to shop for wide width and for men there is not much of a selection in the wide sizes. I will say the sales help is terrific and the checkout clerk saved us from buying two different size shoes in the same box, which I really appreciated. This is a very large store and you are bound to find something that you like. I don't think these are warehouse prices but I guess it depends on where you normally shop. read more

I would like to that the associate Elwinda for her kindness and care for my Mom on Saturday. My Mom recently had surgery and was not allowed to bend over due to her condition. She asked her for assistance and she immediately knew that my Mom had on a monitor. She not only helped her pick out a pair of cute shoes but she gave her the name of a wonderful physican. We went to see the physician today and found out that the additional surgery that her Dr wanted to do is not necessary.
