At this point, we had wasted too much time and money and were very skeptical to try another place. But I am so glad we did! At Maharani we had help from Ravi, Kalpana and Shashi. The customer service was amazing and they had a huge selection and variety of different types of outfits. I was able to pick out both a wedding and reception lehenga that I loved and was even able to customize the color and amount of work on each. Everyone was very attentive and made sure to clarify all details with me and even mentioned things that I hadn't even thought to clarify. I was happy with the expertise provided by Kalpana and Ravi regarding style adjustments to make my lehenga even more special. You can tell they really have been doing this for a long time. Although I had a great experience in store, I was still skeptical that I would receive both my lehengas in the 3 week span they promised especially since those 3 weeks included the holidays and we already felt so behind on our shopping. Luckily, we ended up getting a call that both lehengas were ready EARLY! We went in to try them on and each needed a few alterations which the tailor was able to get done within an hour! I was so happy with the way both of my outfits turned out that we even ended up picking out my fiance's sherwani and my sister's reception lehenga there, which were also perfect and delivered in a timely manner. The quality of their clothing was very high, and after the sale prices I thought the saris were reasonably priced for an American store. Most of the saris I saw didn't come with readymade blouses or falls already built into the saris, but I was able to find one beautiful georgette sari with tasteful embroidery and a fall already built in for about $160. Quite the little gem in Little India! Note: they only take cash or debit cards.
