Today was my second time coming to Embroidery Place. I needed to get 3 Christmas stockings embroidered and a baby blanket. The guy behind the counter was helpful and quick. There are about 12 or more fonts you can choose from and maybe 20 font colors. You write what you want on a piece of paper and he shows you on his computer screen so that you can confirm spelling and font preference- this is great for making sure there are no mistakes! The items I was having embroidered were bought outside of this store, however you can purchase an assortment of basics from here. I believe they also do other personalization techniques like adding graphics and letters onto tshirts although I have never gone here for that, so I can't speak to the quality. The man told me he should be done within an hour (on a Sunday!) and my family and I went to eat and made another quick stop at a store, by the time we were finished, he was ready. The quality is great and exactly what I expected after seeing it on his computer screen. The pricing was a little higher than I expected, but reasonable, $12 per stocking and $15 for the baby blanket. I am happy with the end result and do not mind what I paid. So we went back to make an appt at Khajana for the next day but they said we had to do it online. So we made it online (there is a $35 charge for the appt). When we came to our appt, they didn't have it in the system and they weren't very welcoming at that point but we showed that we did pay so they helped us and we ended up buying 4 pieces. I think their selection is one of the best in Edison but they could have overall been more warmer and more friendly is my only feedback. I think they were more friendly once they knew we were buying but it would have been nice to be received that way from the start.

Nadia ruined my custom dress and has refused to refund my money, even after I waited over 3 months. She never provided me with progress pictures despite multiple requests, and I had to repeatedly chase her just to get updates. When I finally received the dress, it was nothing like what I had ordered -- the materials had stains, the design instructions were completely ignored, and the outfit was completely unusable. When I asked for my money back, she refused. Despite owning two stores, she claimed she didn't have a penny in her account to refund me. After she ignored my texts, I was forced to visit her store in person since my sister's Nikka (wedding) was only 10 days away. At that time, she promised to return my money. However, after waiting several more days, I had to call her again -- only to be told that she "couldn't afford" to refund my deposit, even though my dress was not made to the pdf of details. The color is not what we agreed upon in person or in the document of specifications I had sent. The tailoring ignored the requested neckline with picture examples given. The style itself is of a completely different design than the examples shown in store, despite being given sample pictures as well in the garment details pdf. This has been an extremely stressful and disappointing experience. I would strongly caution anyone from trusting this business with such important orders.
