I've also purchased two fruit trees from this store a year ago and both trees were of high quality and doing well. Lastly, I like to buy American whenever possible. Hubby had my truck so had my sister swing by with her car to pick it up while we were out. The kid who loaded it literally just dropped the bags in the trunk; loud thud!! To the point it jolted the car & we jumped. We drove less than a mile down the road & heard a loud muffler sound. We stopped & looked under & there was a big crack in her muffler, at the flange. I live a mile from the store! Called Campbells back & told them (John) what happened & asked them to please mention to this kid to perhaps not just drop 80# bags of concrete in someone's trunk like that as it can cause damage. The concrete was a solid block too, so this was all in vain anyway! Had to return concrete & now have to pay for repairs. Manager said "well u must've hit a big bump cuz there's no way that could do that damage." Umm, well my sister drove like a turtle & did not hit any bumps. The car was completely fine b4 this. You do the math. VERY expensive mistake, buying overpriced concrete that was useless. Be WARNED: if u buy bags of concrete here, load it yourself or you may have your car damaged. Manager could've said "Well I'm sorry that happened & yes I'll speak to the guy to tell him to be careful." That's all. That would've been sufficient/decent, good customer service. Not like I expected them to pay our car repairs! Just some type of decency or concern for customers who have shopped there a lot! No more. Lost my business, my sisters & that of my contractor who brought the concrete back for me. These people do not know how to treat customers. Also told my aunt & cousin so they'll never shop there again either. Customer service goes a long way. This was a bad experience that was just made much worse by uncaring people who couldn't have the decency to just act like they gave a damn. FYI: We've hauled lots of stuff b4- trunk loaded with heavy bags of soil & never had an issue. Common sense will tell you if u drop 160#, rather than set it, in a trunk it could damage something. Live & learn! Always go to Home Depot from now on!

I will definitely buy a dock from them again. Huge place with lumber yard, docks, hardware, etc. Lots of parking. Confusing as to the setup and where to go, but lots of employees to help guide you.

I received an email from Aubuchon Hardware early in the morning (5:14 A.M.) of July 13th, 2022,…read moreinforming me that I had a $5.00 reward that would be expiring the next day. Needing some repair material for my kitchen counter, I stopped in at the Bangor Street (Augusta) location at approximately 8:30 A.M. that morning. The young man who assisted me made some recommendations pertaining to the materials I would be needing to make the repairs. When I went to the counter to pay for the materials, an elderly man waited on me. I told him that I had a $5.00 reward, which he claimed he was unable to find on the cash register's computer. I then showed him the email on my cell phone that I received from Aubuchon earlier that morning. He said given that there is no bar code on the email, he would not give me the discount. What "really fried my hindquarters" was the fact that he insinuated that I must have used the discount previously, and that he still will not honor the reward. WHAT?!?! Excuse me, but (as I pointed out to him) I could not have used it previously, as you can see by the time stamp on the email, I received it at 5:14 A.M. this morning, and if I would have already used it earlier this morning (which I certainly did not), it would seem that you employee would have remembered me making a purchase and would have a record of it. I WAS NOT a happy customer. I informed this employee to keep the materials I had intended to purchase, and that I would take my business elsewhere. I then walked out and purchased what I needed at one of their competitor's, even though it required an additional 15 minute drive further beyond their store. Up until that point, I've been a satisfied customer of Aubuchon's Augusta store. Needless to say, I will not be back. I am writing this post on July 23rd, and had sent the above in an email to the store manager (as per their website, Mr. Michael Jacques, 064@aubuchonhardware.com) on July 13th, who didn't have the common courtesy to respond with any type of explanation. Apparently, they don't value their customers. Based upon the service I received (or rather, didn't receive) I do not recommend this store, and will be taking my business elsewhere from this point forward. On another note, the only reason I gave them a 1 star rating is because you need to rate at least 1 star in order to post the review.

Peter is the best audio technician I have come across in my 56 years. He must have spent hours…read more(guessing) tearing apart, diagnosing and repairing my Denon receiver, fixed a solder connection on one of the boards, shipped it back and the total cost was $80.00. Even if I lived in the Phillipines or Moscow, I'd still ship my audio components to The Stereo Doctor for repair. Pleasant surprise after all the charlatans in Boston/Cambridge.
