If you decline, they offer to provide customer service at anytime during your visit if you return to them. It's seems overly friendly, but I am not opposed to the level of customer service they are providing as it creates a unique and fun experience. The store overall is a smaller version of the normal store. Their car audio section is in the back let corder, hidden behind the large appliance section. I missed it the first few times I walked in. They have MANY aisles of TVs which appears to be their biggest seller since 1/3 of the store seems to be large screen TVs with the small ones hidden. Their inventory seems small compared to other Best Buys and that is likely due to customer-base in the area. I did utilize Geek Squad services on one occasion to avoid having to travel all the way to the Apple store in Portland. Friendly staff and knowledgable. Overall, it's a nice store, friendly staff, I just find it difficult to locate items compared to other stores.

I could not be more happy with the service at Capitol Computers. My 2011 13'' MacBookPro with Solid…read moreState Hard Drive gave in September of last year. I tried the SMU (or whatever that is) reset that had brought it back to life once before, brought it in to Apple, and was told it was a Logic Board issue. Apple no longer services or keeps parts for machines over 7 years (obsolescence at its best *pukes*) and I was heartbroken. At first I was thrown off at having to pay for diagnosis, but also after being told that replacement of the Logic Board would be as much as $600 I waited a few more months. That brings us to March. After researching logic board repair facilities online and seeing that logic boards can indeed be repaired rather than replaced, I decided it was worth it to bring it in and see what can be done. Scott Baker intook my machine and was super patient with me explaining the process and timeline. He promptly emailed me with the diagnosis and possible paths of repair. It turned out that the problem could be fixed with a $50 part and a half hour of labor ($45 ish)! Not only that, he thought it may take 5-7 days to get the part but it came in the next day and I got an email that afternoon that my lap top was ready for pick-up. All of my data and files were in tact. The computer is still not the fastest beast on the block, but it runs! I'm so happy and I will definitely be taking all my technology needs to Capitol Computer. I'm glad they were able to rescue my apple from the landfill and I hope others will consider repair over replacement.

Short story: DON'T GO HERE. I should have just gone to the Apple Store in the Maine mall. I ended…read moreup there anyway and they were great. For the full story read on. I took my Mac Book pro here for diagnostic and hopefully repair. My keyboard and track pad had stopped working. The machine itself would work with either blue tooth or USB mouse/keyboards attached, but I wanted to see the cost of repairing the laptop keyboard/track pad. First off, it took them 3 days to give me a diagnostic and estimate. I had to call myself to find the status. They told me it was the top case and it would cost $380. I decided this would be worth it to me and agreed to proceed. They called 2 days later and said it wasn't the top case after all it was the logic board and that would cost a bit more $440. All the people I spoke with at this company were not good with people. They weren't friendly, or good at explaining what they there were doing. It was almost like they explained too much technical and not enough of what a client needed to know. The repair tech on the phone went on and on about parts and technical terms etc.. I don't repair computers. I had to repeatedly ask: How much will this cost and when can you get it done? He told me 1-2 more days and I decided for $60 more I'd move forward with the repair. I get a call. Now it's both the case and the logic board need to be replaced and the repair would be over $800.00. They have had my computer a week at this point. I said no to this repair, as I may as well buy a new laptop at that point. They said I would need to pay a 20% restock fee. I said I didn't feel I should have to pay a restock fee when they couldn't properly estimate or diagnose my problem. I never would have agreed to an $800 plus repair. I would pay their $75 dollar diagnostic fee. I asked them to put my laptop back together and return it as I gave it to them. When I went to pick it up, there was no conversation, no apology or explanation, nothing. I barely got eye contact. I tested that my machine was working. Everything seemed in order. When I went to use it the next day (with Bluetooth keyboard/mouse) the battery ran out. When I plugged the charger in, it wouldn't register the charger. I couldn't charge the laptop. I took my Mac book to the Apple Store in the Maine Mall. They diagnosed it free of charge!!! This is what they found. There is a simple plug in cable in the case that enables the charger to work. This cable was disconnected. They plugged it back in and it worked fine, and they didn't even charge me. So Unlimited Technology formerly Capitol Computers either directly sabotaged my laptop so it would appear to be in working order at their office but break later; or they are simply incompetent. Either way this is completely unacceptable service. The Apple Store diagnosed the keyboard issue free of charge. I can't remember exactly the full diagnosis, but they said it would be a little over $500 to repair. I decided to just use it with Bluetooth accessories until I upgrade. I should have just gone to Apple, as I have always had the great customer service at the Maine Mall store. I was simply hoping to save some time as Unlimited Technology formerly Capitol Computers was closer to me and I try to support small business. It was really disappointing how awful the experience was.

This review is of the AutoZone in Palmyra…read more My power driver's seat somehow became stuck in a much-too-far-forward position as I was making my way through Maine, en route to Montréal. On a whim, I stopped at the Autozone, where they advertise "free advice." The employee I spoke with offered to come out to the car to take a look, and had pinpointed the problem within a few minutes. A small button-cell battery had somehow gotten into the rail on which the seat moves. He fished it out and all was well again. I offered him a $20 bill but he wouldn't take it even on my third and fourth tries. He just kept smiling and telling me to spend it on ice cream for me and the kids. He didn't make any money for Autozone with this, nor for himself, but he made a traveling family very happy and relieved. So we sing his and the company's praises!

INCREDIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!…read more Renata & Brad were incredibly helpful when my car's battery died! They helped me select the right battery for my car and later install it. They went out of their way to help me install the battery after the store closed! I had already tried AAA and jump starting the vehicle to no avail. The car alarm simply would not shut off when I tried jump starting the car earlier. Renata and Brad quickly and professionally changed the battery and stopped the alarm from going off, after hours at my college! They refused to accept any additional payment and did an excellent job. I would highly recommend the Waterville AutoZone & Renata & Brad's service.
