I would come here to load up. It's always kind of looked the same (clean, colorful, welcoming with seasonal decor), and the staff has always kind of been the same (friendly but distrusting? I wonder how many candles they've watched slip through fingers and shatter on their floors). Here's what I don't like: 1. The price. Why are these candles so expensive? Their scent isn't long lasting enough, or have enough of a reach, to warrant these prices. 2. All the new smells based off weirdly specific experiences. I don't want Baby's First Steps In Spring Rain, or Wedding Cake Topper Defrosted And Enjoyed On Our First Anniversary, or Stardust Sprinkled Gently On The Sweet Flesh Of Gourds. I want Whoopie Pie. I want Plumeria. And, damn it, I want Rainbow's End. Admittedly there have been times when this particular YC store has pulled out a discount bin of former scents, and those rare moments are the best! Listen, if you're a candle fiend, then of course you're gonna love it here. Even if you don't believe in smells like Friend's Forgotten Scarf or Bronzed And Brined, it's still a whole lotta fun to sniff 'em all!

This is a lovely store located in the center of Greenville Maine with eye catching displays of ME…read moreproducts. There is a great variety of natural soaps and candles and other Maine products. We were happy to find some all natural bug sprays and oils to put to good use on our outdoor adventures at Moosehead Lake. There are lots of unique finds that would make the the perfect gift for anyone. I got such a kick out of the Dinty Moore and Spam candles. Brilliant! Coming back next year to get these gems to give as gifts. Service was genuinely friendly, most welcoming and super helpful about specific product info and pricing. Prices are reasonable and comparable to local and surrounding places. Great find! On street parking. Take a peek!

I wandered over…read morehere after lunch next door, and found some really cute cards, a buoy, shirts and sweaters, and some exceptional locally-farmed honey in various flavours. Maybe because you're a little outside of town, prices are a little more reasonable, and I left happy.

Located in a shopping plaza, Lwapin Lizards has been located here for a long time, years! First…read morestarted coming here in the early 2000's. Ample parking and clear signage. Leapin has clearly marked sections to making it easier to find what you are looking for easier. They carry a wide variety of mediums from crystals to books to incense. Jewelry both made locally as well as from afar. The woman who assisted seemed a little awkward when asking for help. Could not make eye contact nor would she stay with me to answer any questions. She went from her chair behind the counter, pointed out the table with jewelry walking away from me to the bookshelf where she started to browse the books. The only thing I could think of was she was looking for a crystal book to assist? She did not though. I selected a gorgeous honey Amber necklace and three bracelets, next stones. If you've never been here before you learn that the stones call YOU. I have many examples of this happening to me and today was no exception. Then over to the incense area for a few boxes to stock up the house. I spent over $100 which seemed to make the woman happy, she had to do the bare minimum to make this sale. I do miss the women who've worked here who jump in and ask if they can help, stay available for any questions and are super happy you came in. Maybe she was having an off day, don't we all. On the minus side the variety once offered is no longer the case, seems like the whole thing has been scaled back considerably. I will now have to make my way up to the Freeport location and see what if anything has changed there. Happy they are still in our community.

Everything is priced right and I give this place 5 stars
