*Go to Super Shoes for Super BOGO Savings Until September 6, 2022*…read more*Super Rewards Customers! Use Super Bucks September 6-30, 2022* There's a BOGO limited-timed sales offer until September 5, 2022-buy one, get 1/2 price off of another item of equal or lesser value, and it doesn't even have to be the same as the item purchased! This includes sale items too! Double wow!! As if all this weren't enough, for every $50.00 spent, Super Rewards Customers earn 10 "Super Bucks," and can redeem them next month, from 9/6/2022-9/30/2022. I just wanted to share the excellent shopping experience I had this past Sunday, August 7, from everyone at the Super Shoes located at 1 Washington Street in the Waterville store, starting with Gloria. Gloria was the main reason I drove to physically shop in the first place. She Wowed me on the phone, with "old-school customer service" to the max! Gloria was the one who informed me of both the current and future sales, including all of the DEETS written above! She helped me to both spend and save so much money, to maximize my purchase dollars, my trip there, and my rewards account!! She treated me like she knew me, she cared about what was important to me, and was "all-in" invested in the company and the customer. The moment I walked through the main store entrance, I was warmly greeted by Sadie, who was working the register. Her friendly and sincere acknowledgement stood out as more excellent customer service. And when I was upstairs trying on work shoes she asked if I needed any help. Even though I didn't, she still looked over from time to time, with positive eye contact and a sincere smile. I was thinking about since the pandemic, how significant it's been for me to go anywhere. Trips to physical brick-and-mortar stores have decreased significantly. When I do go out as a consumer, I feel a store has that many more chances to both "Wow" their customers and retain them. Customer recognition is very important. I too work in customer service, and we're strictly trained that we're supposed to exceed customer expectations. Gloria and Sadie exemplified that 100%. Glen was downstairs "holding the fort down" in the Men's department, also conscientiously and respectfully asking customers if he could help them find what they were looking for. As I struggled to refold the unwanted pants correctly-to look nice and neat like all the others-he "showed and told" me how to tri-folded the Carhartt Men's workpants! Did you ever wonder how they get that fold looking so nice and neat, with the sizes clearly facing out towards the customers line of vision?! Unless you can figure it out, Glen knows and will probably show you too if you ask!! Other employees have been very helpful, polite, positive and respectful along the way, even if just calling for help to write this review, Emma and Melissa. Also, Lila was friendly and happy to step in and bag all my items purchased on Sunday. And because of Glorias excellent old-school customer service, I saved nearly $100.00 +/- on two pairs of Klogs slip resistant work shoes; two Carhartt Heavyweight Short-Sleeved Pocket T-Shirts, and two pairs of Carhartt Double-Front Workpants: black & mustard brown color!! a.k.a. "Hamilton Brown," the founder, with more than 130 years of a true and tried Carhartt legacy! If you have any questions, the Waterville store number is 207-873-5858. If you want too, you can tell them that a very thankful and grateful customer Toni said hello, and thanks again!!

Growing up hearing the commercial jingle, "I should have bought it...... when I saw it..... at…read moreMardens" - It's a Maine thing and that jingle holds true. If you see a deal that you really want....don't hesitate, buy it, because it WILL be gone within a week or so. This location is VERY easy to find. A repurposed Kmart building, I believe... It's right off the highway, in fact you can see it from the off ramp to the right. There is plenty of parking even when it's crowded. I have never been to this location around the holiday, but I have driven by, and it is always packed! This locally owned retail chain, sells overstock, liquidation and salvage items. We have seen things from Amazon as well. It's usually so random, although they have seasonally appropriate items as well. When we have the time and energy, we like going through the clearance aisles...yes, they have clearance aisles in a discount store. The clearance aisles are only organized by the percentage off and so it's chaotic. Bring patience and a sharp eye for deals. We have gotten electronic peripherals and accessories. We also bought some great yard deals. While we didn't buy them, they had Robotic Lawn mowers with batteries for sale. This store is quite large and have things like furniture, appliances....so much stuff. If you are a patient bargain hunter, that doesn't mind being around people, you may like this store. Worth at least one visit.

They said the difference is the return fee. That info is missing from the online polices. Not that they care but I'll never go back to that junk shop.
