We were here to look at Keen brand footwear for us and rain boots for the kids. They had so much to choose from. The rain boots for kids were decently priced, as were the crocs. The Keen footwear, was the same price as regularly priced items online. Definitely not discounted. After looking at the clothes/footwear, we looked at the toys and crafts section and were able to pick up some fun activities for the afternoon. Water paint pens and a bluey coloring book and unicorns and rainbows. I was able to pick up some of my favorite Tea and it was cheaper than Hannaford. Bigelow brand, decaf earl grey tea. They also had yummy Wilbur's Chocolates (A local brand based out of Freeport Maine). The register area was set up to handle a lot of customers. They have fun bits and bobs to look at while waiting. The staff working the register were so nice, friendly and giggly. Parking - easy- shares lot with other businesses. Once her hair was dyed and came out orange the stylist told us that her hair couldn't get to the color of the photo. Still she reassured us that she would get as close as possible once they toned it. Once the process was all done and 3.5 hours had passed we saw that her hair was not only not close at all to the photos color but not blended at all. A straight line in the back clearly showing the brown from the blonde. Still we were being nice but obviously didn't want to pay full price for a botched hairstyle. We asked to speak to a manager when Anna showed up and started yelling at us saying we had to pay $140 for botched hair. We tried to reason with her but she kept speaking nasty to us saying well where do you work don't you understand that people make mistakes? To which we replied we do understand but also the customer is always right and when you botch someone's hair you don't make them pay that! Another customer was there to whitness this and also agreed that we shouldn't of payed and even stated she would be just walking straight out rather than being nice to them like we had. It took two weeks and numerous phone that she did not return for her to correct it, and she still would not take responsibility of it or to apologize. Instead, solely for this error that could have been credit card fraud, she denied that it happened and retaliated against me by closing my account. Again, I was not the one committing possible fraud. Snowflake Mary did like hearing of my complaint and their repeated refusal to look into it and respond. I contacted the owner by email about this and he ignored my complaint, which means he approved and condoned of her conduct and the overcharge, If you don't like being overcharged and the hubris of the employee who will not take responsibility, pick another company to buy your music and movies from.
