The…read morestaff were super kind and helpful, and the space is so well organised for the candle-making classes. Once you mix your scents and pour your candles, you have to wait a few hours for them to set. Sea Love is in a great location to where you can explore the rest of downtown Freeport while you wait-- or you can peruse their retail store for some great deals. They have dozens of scents to choose from and suggestions on how to combine them to make the perfect smell. We all chose the smallest 'vessel' which was 43$. It seems a little steep to me. However, this was a nice opportunity to do something totally new to all of us and we probably won't do it again. Pretty much any ability could handle the activity. We were there about 45 minutes. There are gift items in the store and one gets 10% off when doing the candle bar. Katie explained that the jars are refillable. One can bring in an empty jar and get 5$ off the regular price. She also mentioned that the candles are made with soy wax and a cotton wick. They don't accept cash payment. Access to the store is up a flight of stairs. And it is worth noting the brick sidewalk was slippery because it had just snowed a bit.
