First step in, I love it! Tons of people helping customers find what they are looking for. As soon as I walked in someone asked if they could help me with anything, and they quickly made my keys for me. I spent time picking out key covers and carabiners. I'm so glad someone told me about this place. It's much closer than driving to other larger stores and they had plenty of stuff! I also can't say enough good things about every one who works here.

I literally checked the store hours before heading over, a 17 minute ride to go to a closed store. Google search which is fast and reliable. They were dependable and reliable up until now. They are the only establishment under 30 minutes from my home that sells what I needed. Item is reasonably priced even though more expensive than Home Depot. Here again, giving my business to them!! These hardware stores are closing due to these competitors, yet they have no concern for the folks who chose them over the big box stores. Why would you go from convenient hours of 8a-6p for people who work. NOW, they are open weekdays for people who don't work!!! 9-5 known business hours yet they will be open for those who: a. Live local b. Work local c. People who don't work. I do not have the time to wait until Saturday for my need. I can order it in line and get it by Friday! Their website says "give us a call" number says person not available and beeps! So is that your number or is it not? Guessing games not my thing. This is the reason these types of stores are closing.

Not just like antiques. Awful. The woman behind the counter was talkative in a bad way. I relish friendly conversation when visiting shops. It's one of my favorite things about visiting stores! But this woman just kept asking questions, one after the other, the entire time I was there. I tried to make it clear with body language that I was just interested in browsing, but she kept on coming with the questions. It was more of an interrogation than a dialog. Merchandise wise, I saw nothing of value. Everything was sort of just stacked in dusty piles. There were none of the, "Oooooh, look at that! What a cool thing!" moments that you want when visiting an antiques or thrift-type shop. Maybe there's some hidden treasure in there, but for me it wasn't worth the dig.

Jewelry both made locally as well as from afar. The woman who assisted seemed a little awkward when asking for help. Could not make eye contact nor would she stay with me to answer any questions. She went from her chair behind the counter, pointed out the table with jewelry walking away from me to the bookshelf where she started to browse the books. The only thing I could think of was she was looking for a crystal book to assist? She did not though. I selected a gorgeous honey Amber necklace and three bracelets, next stones. If you've never been here before you learn that the stones call YOU. I have many examples of this happening to me and today was no exception. Then over to the incense area for a few boxes to stock up the house. I spent over $100 which seemed to make the woman happy, she had to do the bare minimum to make this sale. I do miss the women who've worked here who jump in and ask if they can help, stay available for any questions and are super happy you came in. Maybe she was having an off day, don't we all. On the minus side the variety once offered is no longer the case, seems like the whole thing has been scaled back considerably. I will now have to make my way up to the Freeport location and see what if anything has changed there. Happy they are still in our community.
