Store was clean, busy and staff working hard. Lowe's lumber, home goods, appliances and paints all quality for me. Mission accomplished, carts were a struggle as not very large for 8 bags of mulch. The mulch was wet and I wish they could find a way to better protect it from elements where stored on parking lot. It was so heavy and no real easy way to load it . The personnel at the Sherwin-Williams store in Hudson, WI are courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable. The personnel at the Eden Prairie store make you feel like they are doing you a favor and putting them out by trying to buy something from them. I mean dark tan, light tan, brown tan and beige. All combined and switching at random walls. And the bedrooms were orange (!) and, you guessed it, another shade of beige. That said, we knew we were going to want to brighten the place up with some new paint pretty quickly, so we headed to SW. We had already settled on a color (Mindful Gray) with the trusty help of Pinterest and the sales rep at SW was super helpful in getting us the paint, supplies and tips we needed to get going on the bedrooms. We now have moved on to painting all the trim white, and all the walls a very, very pale blue (goes on white but the finished color is perfection) called Rhinestone. We did two walls in the dining room in Naval and I am in love. It looks awesome up against the Rhinestone. Amanda helped us get enough paint to get our main level done, and my husband has been back to get an additional brush and she has answered a lot of questions as they come up. We really love this store and found their paint to be great quality, though we are going to do a comparison with Home Depot's new Behr Marquee paint since they will color match to any other brand, and they are the only paint to guarantee one coat. That would save some good cash!

Very disappointing experience. I was stirring a fresh gallon of exterior paint, only to discover…read morethere was a fair amount of fine grit in the paint. Having never experienced this with their paint, I returned to the store and asked them to inspect the paint. After a thorough shake, they inspected it, did a drawdown test & proclaimed it OK. I pointed out the grit remaining on the stick, but was told those were air bubbles. At that point it became apparent they considered the case closed. They won, but I'm never going back.
