I ordered blend paint online, not realizing it was the wrong item until it was delivered and opened. We brought the two gallons back and Bill went above and beyond to help us remedy our problem. Brought it in on a Friday and the gal working got to it right away, but over the weekend we realized the match was not where it needed to be so brought it back on Monday morning. When I dropped it off I explained to the store manager, Bill, we needed a favor because our Painter was standing idle at the job. His response was "What's your number?". No care or customer service to say when I might have the match. So I gave it a couple of hours and went back to see about the stain. Asked how it was going and his response was "Did we call you?" I shared my frustration with their 1-3 day policy for stain matched and shared the fact that if I waited one to three days to respond to my customers, I probably wouldn't have any. The manager's response was "Well you should plan better." The last thing you want to say to a general contractor who that's all they do is plan, schedule, manage and organize subcontractors and suppliers like him to get jobs done. Being condescending to your customer is not a good look especially in front of your employees. He could've responded so many other ways like "I'm sorry we do that because it takes time but we will work on it right away and try to get it to you as soon as we can." He maybe could've even said a timeframe especially when he knew our painter was waiting at the job. I would've given five stars for the gal who worked on the stain. The one star rating goes to the store manager. Thankfully, there are many other Sherwin-Williams stores in the Twin Cities.

I came here for some bright pink and yellow to spruce up my new home, which surprised the employees (I guess not a lot of folks go for the bold stuff). There was a kid working there who seemed pretty ambivalent about existence (probably his first job but not his first choice; I feel for him), but he helped me out with everything okay and got my discount applied, since there was a promotion going on. Seems they do sales via free membership on a regular basis, likely to stay competitive with big box stores like Menard's or other department stores that also have paint. Even with the sale it was $30 for a small can, not the full gallon. Ouch. Applies nicely though and doesn't require coat after coat after coat. I don't know what else to say because this is your pretty standard little paint shop.

Very nice product, a little more pricey than most places though. They "assigned" me a sales person and I went forward with choosing flooring and ordering flooring. Through the whole process it was an extreme challenge to ever get in touch with my "assigned" sales person! Because of a mistake by one of the installers I got a bid from, we ended up ordering too much flooring! (no fault of Prosource) However, when I asked if I could return it, they were quite nasty. My sales person did not return my calls. I eventually went into the store and was told that I would have to pay a restocking fee. I understand that is the policy but it was the way I was treated. I will never, ever do business here again and would never recommend them. When I expressed my concerns about lack of contact to the manager, he told me they were very busy! HMMMMM!!! Too busy for customers I guess! I still have the excess flooring and am still awaiting a call back! (it has been about a month and 3-4 phone calls)

Was told 3 days work. 2 coats of paint on the ceiling and the walls. The person doing the skim coat proceeded to skim over bubbled wall board paper and then pointed it out like it was my issue. I went and purchased the Zinser BIn sealer for him to use the next day. He was skeptical, but used it and it solved the issue, although he did have to sand and redo the skim coat. (HIS ERROR)The bubbles were evident BEFORE he started. In the end the charged me an extra 1000.00 and finished on time, but left 1 and 1/2 gallons of paint unused, and only started painting at noon on Friday. They were gone and packed up by 3:30 on the 3rd day. HOW is it possible they could have put on 2 coats of paint on the walls in 3 hours. Paint can states 4 hours between coats. Decided to give this company a try when they listed on LivingSocial. What a waste of my time and money. I paid for 3 hours, yet only got two. Also, it was like surface cleaning....and heck, I could wave a dust wand around. Also, what ever products she used left smear marks. I am sorry, but when you really dust, you lift objects off the shelves, dust and then dust the item and put it back. Not just move the little dusting wand around the item. I feel as though I was robbed...of my time and money by this company. Definitely will not be making that mistake again.

When I asked for a refund, I was told they were there an extra hour (usually there 1.5 hours but they said 2.5 hours). We have a security system so after I checked the in and out times, we found they were falsifying time and were actually only there less than 1.5 hours yet they still charged me for 2.5 hours. I have referred multiple friends and unfortunately they are starting to experience the same thing. I would have loved for it to be different as for a couple of those years they did an outstanding job but now I would not recommend them having found out they falsified time and were not doing the bare minimum.
