I was immediately greeted when I entered the store. It was lunch time, so the store was a bit busy. I waited a couple minutes in order to be assisted at the repair counter--every store associate made sure that I was being assisted and that someone would be with me as soon as possible, as all associates were working with other customers. Once an associate was free, they helped me out with the paperwork for the repair. April assisted me in the process and let me know when I could expect a call when the item was ready for pickup. She then helped me out with a painting project. Her service was invaluable. Ace is super fortunate to have such a great employee. She's helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. When it was time to pick up my item from being repaired (which was earlier than anticipated), I was again greeted by the friendly staff.

The cooler literally sat at our campsite and held two bags of ice for 2 days because I could not use it for what I wanted to use it for so I decided to return it with the receipt today at Ace and because I said that I had used it they said they cannot accept the return because they will not be able to resell. I almost get that but, besides having a little dust on the lid, the inside was completely spotless and the actual sticker was still on the cooler. The girl at the cashier desk said the manager had to come over and make the decision and then here comes the manager. Not really the friendliest of guys but just looked at me and said we cannot take this back so I think that's wrong. I literally just came from Home Depot where I bought a staple gun and I told them I used it but it didn't work properly and I would like to return it and Home Depot gave me my money back no questions asked. I love Ace Hardware because I love helping out the small business owner but I'm sorry, in this situation they should have taken the cooler back it was completely spotless and they could have just returned it back to Coleman saying it was defective or something I don't know but I just find this whole scenario unacceptable.

No overspray anywhere. Would have been done in 3 days, but bagged one day when it was too windy. Appreciated that. House looks outstanding and I have no complaints at all. Clean-up was done perfectly as well. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again. They also wash windows

After receiving four quotes, we chose them based on a recommendation and initial confidence during our consultation. Unfortunately, our experience quickly became disappointing. We met in February and scheduled a start date of March 11. We were told someone would contact us the week prior to confirm paint colors, but we never received a call and had to follow up ourselves. On day one, the foreman did a walkthrough and said they would start upstairs. Only minimal prep work was completed on two bedrooms before the crew left early, promising to return the next morning. Day two was even more concerning. Only one worker showed up, the foreman was absent, and prep work was still incomplete by midday. We also observed workers frequently leaving to vape. I will say the project manager was responsive and communicative when I reached out, and did try to address concerns. That evening, a serious incident occurred. We were alerted via our Ring camera that there was an issue involving the crew and our neighbors. When I called the foreman, he stated they were disposing of paint by digging a hole and burying it on the property. Given how close our homes are, this understandably upset our neighbors. The situation escalated into a confrontation, resulting in police being called, and the crew was told to leave. When we returned home, prep work was still unfinished, no painting had been completed, and there was trash left behind. A new crew arrived on day three and completed the job in a single day, which highlighted how inefficient the previous crew had been. However, communication remained poor at the management level. I attempted multiple times to reach a supervisor but never received a callback before the weekend. While we were eventually offered compensation, it was not proactively handled. I had to follow up myself to address and correct the compensation, which added to the frustration and made it feel like resolving the issue was not a priority. Due to managing our children and my husband working a 48-hour shift, I couldn't fully inspect everything immediately. After noticing additional incomplete work, I reached out again and received no response. We've hired many service providers over the years and have never experienced anything like this. This project caused unnecessary delays in selling our home and added significant stress. Given the cost and importance of this work, we expected far better professionalism, communication, and accountability.

It's rare to find such genuine care and professionalism these days--I'll absolutely be coming back and recommending them to friends and family.

Unfortunately, I have to be in a Wi-Fi area in order to use my phone like that. And they don't have Wi-Fi. I needed very specific things size wise. And you're not allowed to open packaging but when you pick up a lamp and you lightly shake it and you hear broken glass, but you're not allowed to open up the package and see what exactly broke why bother buying it at half price if you're not gonna be able to use it. This happened repeatedly also I was looking for a specific size bathroom medicine cabinet. Since much of the writing on the boxes didn't have dimensions, and I couldn't open the boxes because it's against the rules. I could find boxes that I think might've had the right sized item inside but I really couldn't take the gamble especially when I can't see if they're scratches or dents or a door ripped off, etc. I think the only thing I will come back here for is tile. If you're doing a craft project and you need a few pieces of tile or you're doing something special to cover a table top and you only need a few feet. This is the place to come for the tile. Unfortunately, the majority of the tile is not labeled and not priced and I hate having to run up to the counter every single time I find something to find out how much it's gonna cost. It's just ridiculous. I found a similar place, not too far away, where the people don't mind if you open the items to look at them and they will even go so far as to take a light fixture and wire it to a test area to show you that it works. So I think I will keep going to this other place instead.
