Beazer left me with a pint of the wall paint and a pint of the trim paint for touchups. I recently used up most of that pint of wall paint for repainting a couple of sections of wall in the living room after having the walls ripped open for a custom surround sound speaker cable run for my HD TV setup. I figured I had better get some more of this paint and hold it in reserve just in case (you never know when the manufacturer is going to discontinue a color!). I found that McCormick Paint is not available at Home Depot or Lowe's - you have to go to their own stores. Fortunately, there is one nearby in Manassas. I've gone by here once before on a Saturday afternoon - but they have limited hours on Saturdays - they close at noon. It's located on Route 28 south of Manassas - a bit just past the interchange of Route 28 and the Prince William County Parkway/Route 28 Bypass. So I made a point to get there about 11:30 am this morning. They had what I needed in stock! Picked up a gallon of their "Tempo Premium - Interior Semi Gloss Acrylic Enamel 18012 Designer White." Cost was $33 and change. Guy snagged me a gallon, rang me up, and I was on my way!

I highly recommend this location and I will be coming back in the future for all of my paint/stain needs even though it is further away from where I normally go to.

In August Of this year, I purchased a quart of paint for $43 dollars to do minor touch ups. The sheen was very different and very noticeable. I went into the store looking for a solution, thinking that I may have purchased the wrong finish and was told it was the same paint. I tried explaining over and over that it was not and I needed help to solve the problem. My only thought was that I would have to spend more money to have my house repainted witch cost me over $5,000. He said all he does is mix the paint. He called the manager and he told me the same thing. I have better experience with Lowes or Home Depot because they at least can color match your paint and help to come up with a solution I called Color Wheel in McLean and a nice employee explained that the paint technology changed over the last few months and that the paint would look different. I called all of the Vienna paint stores and none of them knew this nor did they try to help me. The employee at Color Wheel gave me the corporate number, and they stated that the base color was discontinued and that I would need to call around to see who had it. I finally I found a store in Florida that was able to ship it to me. I spent $45 including shopping vs paying $5000 to have my house repainted. Paying $85 per gallon is a waste of money especially if they are going to change the paint so that you cannot do touch up painting. It's not worth the headache nor is the poor customer service I received from Vienna Paint.

My husband went today to get paint matched based on the cans sticker and came back home and it was not correct. He went back and brought the old paint can in person to match and he said there's no way he can match it. I think he's just lazy. I will be going back when he is not there so someone who actually wants to do their job can do it. Avoid him.

I wasn't treated like a stupid lady and he was very helpful. You don't get that at Home Depot - in fact you get the opposite. HD employees don't make eye contact with you so you don't stop and ask them anything.
