In August Of this year, I purchased a quart of paint for $43 dollars to do minor touch ups. The sheen was very different and very noticeable. I went into the store looking for a solution, thinking that I may have purchased the wrong finish and was told it was the same paint. I tried explaining over and over that it was not and I needed help to solve the problem. My only thought was that I would have to spend more money to have my house repainted witch cost me over $5,000. He said all he does is mix the paint. He called the manager and he told me the same thing. I have better experience with Lowes or Home Depot because they at least can color match your paint and help to come up with a solution I called Color Wheel in McLean and a nice employee explained that the paint technology changed over the last few months and that the paint would look different. I called all of the Vienna paint stores and none of them knew this nor did they try to help me. The employee at Color Wheel gave me the corporate number, and they stated that the base color was discontinued and that I would need to call around to see who had it. I finally I found a store in Florida that was able to ship it to me. I spent $45 including shopping vs paying $5000 to have my house repainted. Paying $85 per gallon is a waste of money especially if they are going to change the paint so that you cannot do touch up painting. It's not worth the headache nor is the poor customer service I received from Vienna Paint.

Breathe in the ambiance. There is something comforting about these hardware stores... I wasn't planning on buying anything when I went in. Several employees asked if I needed help. I didn't at first. Then I opted for a new Stanley claw hammer (I can't find my current hammer) and a metal tool for breaking up and chipping ice from sidewalks (I'll be damned if I could find this style tool anywhere during the winter). As far as I can tell, this hardware store IS NOT affiliated with True Value - nothing at the store would indicate this and they are not listed on the True Value web site. They accept plastic here - although I believe they do not accept Discover. Nice folks running the place - friendly and helpful!

The high, steep roof at least 40 ft high, was difficult and so dangerous, my wife and I prayed for their safety while they worked. Instead of measuring out the fabric using the machine (sitting right next to the cutting table) that transfers the yardage from one bolt to another so that the fabric does not get wrinkled, the employee measured the fabric out on the cutting table by hand. 432 inches of 54" wide fabric. She then bunched up the fabric into a big pile and handed it to me. I asked her why she had not used the measuring/rolling machine and she said because she wasn't trained on it. I know Joann is in bankruptcy so i have low expectations in general, but this was really worse than I have ever expected. If you can't be a real fabric store, then just sell fake flowers, Valentine decorations, and finger paint and call it a day.

Dennis and his crew were here today to paint our living room, hallways and all the trim for three bedroom doors, bathroom door and linen closet. All walls and ceilings were painted without any splatters or paint drops. No only did they show up right on time (which is not easy to do in this area) but they treated our home and belongings as if it were their own. All furniture gently moved and covered. You can learn pottery and stain glass but check with them to see when classes are available. They were all very nice and helpful on helping with painting. You can paint and go back and finish if you have to take a break. Painting large pieces can take a little longer. Will go back and check out more pieces to paint.
