I find the quality of the products they sell to be equal to or better than what you find at HD or Lowes. Great to hear they service equipment. I can see where it might be difficult with the fluctuation in demand to hire support staff. I'm not sure where else equipment service is available in the west suburban area in 2025. So many of these equipment maintenance stores have gone out of business.

It's not my job to know different materials and my questions were returned with such a snobbish attitude. I almost wanted to laugh out loud back at him when he did that to me. No one needs a know-it-all attitude when asking for help. Imagine if you went to a specialist for something and they laughed at you for not knowing. Ha! This must have triggered the employees who pulled out wheelbarrows and a truck to block people from coming through. Why? Not sure as no one was in their lot. They were also yelling at drivers for trying to come through. Unbelievably rude and bad community spirit so I won't be using this store anymore.

These guys do a fine job of doing what they're supposed to. Becky the color consultant is helpful…read moreand has a good eye and memory of available colors to pull up matches and she was able to pull a "brown" color to go with my exterior paint that ended up matching better than I expected! The other guys that work there are your typical guys - service is adequate and a few of the criticisms that other reviewers left I can see a potential basis for. Meaning I get their point. They don't seem to be charmers by any means and if you're not assertive, I can visualize them getting lost in a conversation about a supermodel while a line backs up at the register (not that paint stores get many backups). Overall Benjamin Moore paint is excellent and my painters applied it beautifully to our house. People that walk by really like the colors and a recent unsolicited offer for my house based on the curb appeal (they didn't see the inside) is another testament to the look of a well done Benjamin Moore paint job. So I'd give Becky 4-5 stars for her eye and skill with the color palette - and the rest of the experience a 2.5
