They can help you figure out how to fix issues if you explain the problem as well. Service is fantastic all around from the questions about your project to helping you load up anything you buy such as mulch or salt. Everyone is friendly and helpful as well. They have just about everything you would need for a quick weekend project. Compared to other hardware stores in the area we have been very impressed by their staff. They are all very knowledgeable and helpful. Today we were looking for a couple of specialty screws and before we could even reach that section of the store two workers asked if we needed help with anything. In addition to hardware supplies, they have a really nice garden section with high-quality plants. We were particularly impressed with their hydrangeas, which were 2-3 times larger than other nurseries we have seen and listed at the same price. Also, worth noting this place is the spot in town to buy a Christmas tree! Right after Thanksgiving they ship in tons of trees and offer them for a flat rate. If you find yourself needing to stop by a hardware store I would highly recommend dropping by Jed's over one of the other big box stores in town.

They do a good job making keys and advising for your painting work, You won't get the charm of Coolidge Hardware at many hardwares. They listen to what you need and are friendly. I fix things around the house a lot, and Butler always comes through for me. Everyone is helpful, tries to help me pick the right material for the job, and even give me free range to look around in the wood sheds to see if they have something I can use. They have marine ply, and everything I am looking for when I need lumber. I even found them to be generous - I have so much spray paint from when they were trying to move the stock. I don't understand the English language point, I have never had an issue with the staff in the yard or in the store. Great store, I'd recommend them.

I went to Concord Lumber today to pickup some hardware and I needed some paint. I went to the paint…read morecounter and stood there for 10min and nobody was around. I stuck my head outback and yelled "Hello" and got no response. I then went up to the front counter and asked if anybody was in the paint department that could help me? The guy at the main counter told me that the guy in the paint dept would be back in just a minute. I walked back over to the counter and again stood there for a minimum of ten minutes and again nobody came to help me. I again walked back to the main counter and again I politely told the same guy as before that nobody had come and that I needed help in the paint department. Again I was told that the paint dept guy would be right over because he had just stepped out back for a minute. I politely told him that he didn't just step out back for a minute because I have been standing over there for 20 minutes at this point but again I walked back to the paint counter stood there. After another 10 minutes past, I could not wait any longer and was pretty frustrated that I had been waiting for a half an hour and that nobody from the main counter did a single thing to try to locate the paint guy and they all were fully aware that I had been standing there for an excessive amount of time. I totally understand that small businesses get busy, but the store wasn't busy! I will go there again sometime in the near future and update this review because I'm hoping today was an oversight. There's no way customer should have to wait a half an hour and basically get brushed off when you asked for help!

I called first to ensure they had the paint and supplies I needed and the older guy on the other end of the phone sounded like he had better things to do. Worse, when I arrived, the guy was so dry and unfriendly and barely spoke and I tried to talk to him and tell him what I needed and he just pointed. Not sure what his problem was but I was surprised a small hardware store like this would allow an employee like that work a any shift let alone a weekday.
