Chris, whom I spoke with, was super friendly and offered us free stain and pallets - as many as we could grab - and as many as Budeke's had on hand. I was so impressed and blown away by their charity. Thanks to budeke's we were able to construct tree pit guards along Highland Ave. to preserve the trees and keep trash out. He actually stated before he began my project that he was "more of a perfectionist than I." I would love to have a picture of his face when I questioned the basis for his statement. Gentle and professional as he can't or may not be, I can now confidently demonstrate with examples the inaccuracy of his claim. In the past, my wife has had painting done in our home. It is my opinion that many residential spreaders of paint should advertise as such and refrain from the noble title of painter. I'm sticking with Budeke's and either hiring a profession, or applying quality product acquired from them myself.
