They have a little section with their merch. It's really cute in there and very clean very open. I like it how you can see what's going on. We did a pretty good size haul to try everything out. I ordered some for my mom to take home and I left some with my best friend and her son so it all worked out. The girls were also nice enough to give my puppies little doggy cupcakes and they scarf them down! My dogs are pretty picky so the fact they were so excited to eat them was awesome And it was very nice of them. Overall, the snickerdoodle reigns supreme period Point blank. The ginger cookie if I were to give one critique about anything in the experience would be that the ginger cookie was a little dry I totally understand like Ginger snap but I didn't get that either but it was still pretty good. That kind of customer service is almost extinct these days. Most places make you feel like you're inconveniencing them if you ask for a sample--looking at you, Baskin-Robbins. The donut itself was amazing. You could immediately tell it was made with better ingredients than what most places use. It was warm, fresh, rich, and actually tasted homemade instead of mass-produced. The chocolate flavor was spot on, and the texture was perfect. What really stood out, though, was the generosity. The owner was confident enough in his product to hand me a warm donut and say, "Here, try this." That simple gesture turned me from someone just walking by into a customer for life. Great donuts, great ingredients, and even better customer service. In a world where genuine hospitality is getting harder to find, this place is doing it right. Highly recommend.

It is tucked in the corner of a small shopping center in the town of Prunedale, near the intersection of Highways 156 and 101. While the outside is nondescript, the bakery itself is beautiful on the inside and the selection of baked goods is extensive and spectacular. So many unique and tempting creations. It is difficult to choose one thing to order because there are so many that look amazing. We tried what they call a roulette which is a round layered pastry that is loaded with flavor. It was absolutely delicious. Not too sweet but just right. The disappointing factor at Gourmet Central Bakery is the coffee. It was incredible weak and flavorless. Not sure if it was the beans they use or the mix of water to coffee, but it was hugely disappointing. It did not compliment whatsoever their incredible baked goods. I hope they will focus on providing beverages that match the quality and creativity of their pastries. I would say check out GCB for all of their incredible baked goods, just don't order coffee until they make some changes. Their baked goods deserve, as do customers, a satisfying coffee pairing.
