Unsure if they had more options in the back, but outside of macaroons, no gf options. They do have tea but it's not advertised on their menu. They have such cute teapots and cups for their tea. Had the fig honey latte, they do have either oat or whole milk options. Slightly sweet, and very good. I ended up with almond croissant which was flaky, slightly sweet, and great mouth feel.

I went for the pistachio honey latte (I'm a sucker for pistachio!) and snagged the last veggie quiche of the morning around 11am. Both were absolutely delicious and perfect for breakfast. My friend had the rosewater croissant and a strawberry matcha iced latte--both equally unique and delightful. Despite being a bustling Saturday morning, the staff was incredibly kind and efficient. There's both indoor and outdoor seating, making it a cozy spot no matter the weather. For parking, I'd recommend Westport Road or 40th Street (west of Main) and taking a short walk. Preordering whole quiches, tarts, cookies, cupcakes may require 48 hours' notice. Enchanté is more than just a bakery--it's a little slice of magic in Kansas City. I can't wait to go back and try more seasonal goodies!

The location is not the best because it is right next to the freeway but once you step inside the small area it feels like you are somewhere fancy - EU style. The outdoor seating is lovely, with a white building behind it, black painted windows, and pretty pink peony plants all around, making it a nice and refreshing place to hangout. Inside, the space is small with four or five tables outer side of the shop and a bookshelf with various book genres. As you go in, you will find the coffee counter and some more tables for seating. I enjoyed my time here, looking at the decor and fine atmosphere. I had a cafe latte, a London Fog tea with vanilla syrup, and a slice of cinnamon bread. The drinks and bread tasted okay, but nothing special. The service was fast and the staff was very sweet and kind. I would still suggest this place to everyone more for its atmosphere than the food and non alcoholic drinks. This place is definitely adding charm to the area and I hope to see more businesses like this open nearby. I give it 4/5 just for the ambiance.

It was difficult to decide which I wanted. It was like an assembly line of perfect little treats. The staff was very nice and helpful. The selection seemed endless and they had drinks in cans that were delicious. I had a very difficult time choosing which I was going to try. There is a seating area in the rear of the restaurant. It was full of happy people eating pastries and chatting. It was a perfect setting. I had heard about this place for years but never ventured inside. I regret not going to this lovely place sooner. I will definitely go back and recommend. I guess this is a franchise business with locations all over the US. I am just glad we have one in Lawrence. Still... WOW!

Couldn't believe it when I a friend told me this place has been in operation for years. Guess I need to venture over to Lawrence from Topeka more often! While not the case across the board, we found a number of the items we selected to be on par with the quality of treats we enjoy while visiting France. Needless to say I will be wearing out the Turnpike making return visits to this real gem.

What I love about this location is you can get something super quick to go (an Aussie Pie or Sausage Roll for example) or something fast casual to eat a quick meal . I ordered off the lunch menu and got the Cuban Confit Pork sandwich and my partner got the Chicken Banh Mi. We split a bag of chips and walked out for a little less than $40 with tip. The service was friendly and "order at the counter." The worker was quick to give suggestions and a layout of the menu. My Cuban sandwich was awesome and had a little bit of a Chinese Five Spice kinda vibe. Unexpected but pleasant. There are so many other things I want to try when I go back!

What appears to be a mom and pop bakery is actually a baker who has carefully done his research and brings himself up to date on the latest trends of flavor in the baking world. The vibes are amazing - I especially love the art piece on the wall he commissioned from a local artist. I saw the Instagram page with several posts explaining how he did each part. Everything was absolutely delicious (I am biased with the ham and gruyere cheese since that is a favorite combo of mine), the danish was delicious (I could tell maybe it uses veryberryosa - a recent trend in baking to be used as filling), and the same was probably on the cinnamon roll looking crossaint. Now the grand prize - the mochi donuts were spectacular. The flavors I got were raspberry almond (my #1 favorite I got twice), cereal (this was carefully curated and not too sweet like most cereal based baked goods), Irish coffee (didn't taste like coffee, gave it to a friend) and the mango black tea was also a slam dunk for me. The staff are incredibly friendly here which is a huge plus!

Weird We've visited…read morethis shop three or four different times now, and unfortunately each visit has felt a little awkward or uncomfortable in a new way. During our last three visits especially, one of the pastry clerks came across as very cold and off-putting, to the point where even simple conversation outside of placing an order seemed unwelcome. I understand everyone has difficult days, but customer interactions are about more than just completing a sale. Sometimes taking a moment to genuinely acknowledge and engage with people can make a big difference, especially for returning customers. Despite the shop being empty, the interactions felt rushed and distracted, and there seemed to be little interest in conversation beyond the transaction itself. At one point, he mentioned frustration about so many coffee shops opening nearby. As someone who appreciates small businesses, I would have gladly offered encouragement or support, but for the third visit in a row, it felt like we were only acknowledged long enough to complete a pastry purchase. We will not be coming back. And the pastries are burnt.
