She even offered some excellent advice. The original design I sent her had black icing with the design in white. I'm so glad Karen suggested reversing the colors, otherwise everyone's mouths would have turned black! I never would have thought of that. It's so nice to work with someone who will be honest with you about your selections and advise when something isn't going to work out as expected. The cake flavor (red velvet) was delicious too! So moist. Everyone loved it! Her prices are reasonable, she's very professional and easy to work with, and her cakes are delicious! We plan to use her again for my father-in-law's birthday cake.

Tasting the cake, it was clear the frosting was straight from a tub i.e. gluey, chemically, and overly-sweet. Apparently, homemade frosting isn't "cost effective" for her. Although she finally agreed to refund $30, I was still out the rest (it wasn't cheap) and left with an inedible cake for the husband's 50th birthday. This vendor advertises a love of baking but she clearly loves your money more. We enjoyed neither a quality cake nor an honest transaction from this vendor. Look elsewhere.
