The photos were beautiful and looked delicious on the screen, so I thought I would give them a chance. The owner, Ashley, is very helpful and offered some flavor combinations for my macaron order. I thought her pricing was very fair and reasonable given the quality ingredients and time that goes into making these colorful little gems. At the last minute, I added the madeleines to my order and was so glad I did. They were absolutely delicious! My only regret is I did not order more! Everyone loved them! Topeka Tea Cakes gets my recommendation. They made me look good as the host. Give them a try for your next cake, cookie, bakery order!

A Topeka/Midwest native, I spent most of my adolescence & young adulthood in San Diego,CA got exposed to a lot & missing boba was something I did not have to do thanks to this cute lil cafe!! Only star down would be because I hate when good things change & this place has not gone back to normal since Covid with the way that the register cart/bar is at the edge of the entrance still not allowing people inside anymore. I miss the way it was, the seating along the edge of the walkway is nice enough but not inside the establishment. I can't be picky though, this might be the only spot I can get boba at in town! I'd like coffee on the menu as well, I'm a fanatic. But I can respect their tea only & made it easy taking my 11yo cousin there today who I'd take the coffee out of her drink anyway. I wish they had some nicer looking pastries! Otherwise, still truly a 10/10 will definitely visit again.

The food was top-notch, bursting with fresh flavors that never let me down. The carrot cake was a slice of heaven--moist, perfectly spiced, and topped with a smooth, rich cream cheese frosting that complemented the cake's warmth beautifully. Each bite was just the right balance of sweetness and depth. The hot chocolate was decadent and comforting, with a velvety texture and just the right amount of chocolatey richness. It was served piping hot, topped with a fluffy cloud of whipped cream, making it the perfect pairing to finish off a cozy night. The service was impeccable - our server was warm, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The ambience was perfect for a night out, with a cozy yet lively vibe. And the live music was the highlight of the evening, creating such a great atmosphere. Five stars all the way - I highly recommend it!
