I couldn't resist the pull of this charming shop, This is a small shop. There is just room for a few tables and a few chairs. The smallness adds to the ambiance and you know you will get personalized service. The server was super helpful and he explained all the processes very thoroughly. I ordered a peppermint tea and it was delicious. I had a million questions over a single tea order but the server was very patient with me. At the time there was no one else in the shop because it was close to closing time. That made the experience even more special. I got to browse and shop at my leisure while the magical tea was being brewed. They sell all sorts of tea accessories. Strainers, spoons, loose tea in a number of varieties. This shop is easily accessible. Parking is tricky downtown but there is a huge parking lot across the street. There are metered spots right out in front of the shop. Prices seemed very reasonable. She also got the chocolate Hong Kong waffle with ice cream and enjoyed it. I would have liked to try some of their food, but wasn't able to during this visit (through no fault of Tsaocaa). The plushies and other merch they had was very cute and I'll very likely buy something the next time I visit. The decor was also lovely, with some very happy plants in the windows. The staff were also friendly and gave me no reason to doubt their skills. My only complaint is that the seating was just shy of being comfortable. My friend said the bench seating was a bit hard, and while the chair I sat in was soft, the arm rests made it a little too narrow for me (I'm plus size and have chronic pain, so finding truly comfortable seating can be a challenge at most places. As a note, anyone larger than a women's 3X probably wouldn't be able to comfortably sit in the chairs at all and would need to sit on the bench). Overall it was a pleasant experience, and I plan to go again!
