We walked in as part of the Explore Lawrence 'Summer of Fun' Pass and everything was quite pleasant. We were greeted warmly and our drink was good. Not much more you can ask for when it comes to an afternoon treat!

Every time i come in i get a smoothie with the popping boba- it's so yummy! Would be nice if staff were a little friendlier but the drink is always good (-:

I got another drink before I left the first time I came here. I ordered the Fresh Strawberry Blend (without cheese) with Lychee jelly topping. At first, it tasted similar to the one I had in China, however the more I drank it, it started to taste sour and flavorless. The strawberry flavor was a little lacking, it tastes mainly like water slushy and I'm glad I decided to add the lychee jelly in it because it made it sweeter and tolerable to drink. When I ran out of the topping I couldn't drink anymore of the strawberry slush by itself. I would not recommend this drink. Sunday, Jan. 27th I went a second time and decided to order the milk tea again. I ordered a large size of A5 Brown Sugar Boba Milk Tea. It was sooo good. I downed it in the first 15 mins of getting the drink. It was so good! Again, the milk tea was the perfect sweetness. The tapioca pearls were soft, but kind of tasted old like it wasn't cooked fresh. The first time I came, which was on Friday, Jan. 25th was way better. But I would still recommend coming, maybe a little earlier in the day. We went there at 7pm, which is closed to 9:30pm which is closing time on a Sunday night.

Really love this place, good tasting drinks and really nice workers, one of my favorite places in Lawrence!! :D It's a little small inside but that's really the only thing I would comment on.

This cute Korean boba spot is located in college town lawrence KS, my boyfriend and I were looking around and happen to come across this very hidden gem ! Although Parking is always a struggle in this area there is always off the street parking. But anyway back to the location. It is super cute light pink inside with a really soft vibe inside with a lot of drink choices! I got the blue herbal drink which was sooo good and had a light taste to it just how I love my drinks and my boyfriend had the mango strawberry which was a little on the sweeter side, they were both very good! Will definitely be returning when in the area

Of the few places we have in Lawrence, I really enjoy visiting HiTea. I've spent a lot of time in Asia where you can get really cheap milk tea (my last trip, I paid less than $1.50 for the equivalent of a venti bubble tea with boba and they were amazing). Sadly, we don't have that in Lawrence, but I've still been impressed with HiTea each time I've visited. On my last visit, I signed up for their VIP program ($5) and it gets you 10% off each purchase. It also comes with three free drinks on your birthday! Each milk tea is $5~, so I paid $5 and will get three drinks for the price of one! I'm a big price of the A4, Hong Kong milk tea. The staff are friendly and prices reasonable for Lawrence.

amazing boba tea! my family got it and we all like it, only took a few minutes for it to arrive!

Cute boba place in Lawrence! They have a lot of special drinks that are both 'insta-worthy' and delicious. I recommend "Wizard of Oz" tea if you like green tea drinks. I'm not sure how I feel about their boba though. Their boba is really small in size and is slimy rather than chewy. There are 3-4 tables and a giant teddy bear by the seating area. Wifi is available so this could be a good place to grab some boba and hang out with friends.

Still good, friendly staff! They removed the giant bear though. :( Their menu is also slightly different now, but they have more variety. My recommendation: Hong Kong style Centon milk tea with honey boba.

I enjoy their tea, and think its really tasty. However, the atmosphere in general feels really unwelcoming a majority of the time.

Turns out I was but it was a quick jaunt over to the Mass location. Walking in, it's exactly what you want a bakery/cafe to be: light, airy, charming, and warm. On top of that, you've got a full bakery case with all sorts of goodies and an enticing lunch/brunch menu. I went with their take on a BLT and my god was it good. I updated my side to fries and they were equally spectacular, though so big I couldn't finish them all on my own, which is not a problem I mind having! I purchased a cold brew to go for the way home and a sandwich for my husband to enjoy later - he reported it was equally good. My only qualm is that it's pricey, but I'm still sticking with 5 stars because honestly I didn't mind paying for it when it the food and dining experience was so lovely.

Full disclosure I came here with a lot of uncertainty. There's a TON of coffee shops in Lawrence…read moreand they all aren't created equal. I took a meeting here and the person I was meeting with gave me a few local options. This was the place I hadn't been yet so I thought I'd go a bit out of my comfort zone and try a new spot. Something I was nervous about from the photos on Yelp was if there would be enough inside seating when I arrived for a meeting. When I pulled up, I was still a bit anxious about this as the front lot was full and I had to pull to the back to park. Once I got out of my car and walked through the cafe to the front to order my anxieties about seating had diminished. It's much larger inside than the outside appears and the photos here on Yelp don't really do the indoors justice. Yes, the outdoor seating is really cute and well shaded so I get why folks focus on it, but if you're like me and wanting to get some work done you'll find a comfortable spot here. Now onto the coffee. As I made my way into the shop I noticed one of my art school professors (we both sort of looked at each other like "do I know you?") and I moved on, but that's a good sign. The art teachers usually know where to snag a decent cup of coffee. When I ordered I tried one of their special drinks and chatted with the baristas about it before I made my choice. Extra points here because not only was the drink really, really good, but the girls working were beyond friendly and answered all of my questions. I'm not lying when I say this was one of the best cups of coffee I've had in Lawrence in some time. I wouldn't hesitate to return.

When I got to the window it took a min or two for the girl to notice me. She was on her phone.. which is okay but she didn't wash her hands before starting to make my drink. Then I saw her pull down some cup out of the matcha bin and warm up with whisk with water (totally normal matcha stuff) but then she used the water to put into my matcha and I don't know why that kinda grossed me out. Maybe because it was from the matcha bin cup that's in that bin. Then the worst part was the oat milk I wanted had been sitting out and it wasn't warm but it wasn't frosty cold you know? Maybe I shouldn't watch how the sausage is made you know? But idk it just kinda gave me the yuckies and I didn't wanna drink it. Also just overall tip for Uplift, I think the matcha needs a littttke bit more matcha to milk ratio. It's a bit milk heavy. Also maybe a touch more syrup would be perfect! I'm still gonna go back because I believe in you guys. Beautiful drive thru (to get those ambiance points). But yeah I just would like a little more refined.
