In an effort to be more active, I thought why not walk her to a nearby coffee shop by the house. J&S Coffee is one of coffee shops nearby. I am not sure if pets are allowed but I left Yuki outside. Inside, the shop looks friendly and the service was good. I didn't stay long. The latte was good with reasonable price, $5.35 for a 20 oz latte. Although my visit was short but I could not see a reason to not give this shop a 5 stars. I will return but will stay longer the next time.

I've tried everything on the menu and my favorites are: 1. Mint To Be -- a super tasty matcha milk tea with refreshing mint flavor. It's great with brown sugar boba. 2. Ari Godness -- a classic brown sugar boba milk (it doesn't have tea, so no caffeine) with delicious flan and boba. I love the textures of both toppings. 3. Peach On Da Beach -- amazingly rich and flavorful peach tea with peach chunks. So good on a hot day. 4. Frozen Sunrise -- refreshing sweet and tangy smoothie that goes really well with fruity popping boba. 5. I'm Panda Frappe -- incredible drink blended with oreo that is great for a chocolate craving. The tea expert let me try the tea of the day, Oriental Garden oolong, which was really good to me. However, Eric R. likes green tea so we had to agree. He suggested jasmine pearls, and I agreed. We sat down, had lots of cups of delicious jasmine green tea, and got work done. There was a tv playing Japanese anime quite loudly in the background, but we tuned it out.
