Part of the year it is in Pottorf Hall…read moreat Cico Park and in the warmer weather, it is outside at 3rd and Leavenworth in the parking lot across from Dillard's. I have been to both the indoor and outdoor markets. The vendors are very nice. Every type of item expected at a farmer's market is available: meats (including a lamb-specific vendor), farm fresh eggs, vegetables, herbs, spices, bread, local honey. Eric R. and I learned all about farm fresh eggs when a vendor spent lots of time explaining to us about the process, how it differs from store bought eggs, and how the colors are different. We bought a half dozen, 3 brown and 3 blue eggs. They were truly delicious and I could taste a difference. The yolks were so bright! Only one of the eggs had blood spots inside but she told us how to check for those and how to clean them before cooking. The market now offers free coffee in the morning, and runs from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturdays. Support our farmers and ranchers and shop here!

The person taking our order was patient and kind as we asked a bunch of questions about the menu we tried loading quickly on our phones. My niece ordered a strawberry milk, Eric R. an iced blondie with caramel drizzle, my brother got an iced americano, SIL a hot vanilla latte with foam, and I got an iced cereal milk matcha oat milk latte. Everything was very fast, and all of us got our drink for free! Wow! My brother was able to give a tip on the way out and we thanked the staff by yelling out of the window. This was truly a smooth experience for a new business in town, and we appreciate the amazing opportunity to try it for free and so efficiently!
