Everyone at Britt's have always been kind. I will go out to grab something once in a while but the place just isn't clean.

I've gone to Britts for years to buy produce such as peaches, tomatoes, sweet corn, also honey and salsa are favorites. In the spring, we buy annual flowers such as marigolds and also tomato and pepper plants for our garden. The staff is very nice and friendly and knowledgeable. read more

This year was the second year we've visited Britt's and while on the pricey side, my kids (and my husband) have a blast with all the activities offered. We love the large selection of pumpkins and always leave with way more than we need! My favorite area, and my youngest sons as well, is the petting zoo. We get so excited about feeding the calves and all the other animals in there. This year he was excited about the small white chickens who followed him around and let him pet them as much as he wanted. I was concerned about the health of several animals though. There was one calf who had lost most of the fur on its back and seemed lethargic while the other three seemed pretty underweight. There was also a piglet who seemed to be in bad shape as well as a very young goat with so much gunk around its eyes and nose it barely noticed the food in my hand. I'm not a veterinarian by any means, but it was enough to concern me for sure. read more

GREAT HONEY GREAT sauces: + Jams! Arrived at the Acre during the winter season, not very many options for veggies and fruits however they have a great selection for jams and sauces. Local resident and enjoy checking out the local farmers markets and this happens to be one I will choose to visit often for some delicious jams! Good service, good products and produce, best place ever to shop for local goods. Absolutely loved it. The ambiance was gorgeous as well.

My husband and I just moved down the street from this farm. I couldn't wait to go into their store. We were greeted by a sweet little youngster as we parked. The woman operating the store was kind enough to let us in even though they were closed. I enjoyed this place, she let me know what was ripe and ready to eat. We bought some delicious peaches, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, jam, bacon, and the star of the show... their sweet beets and blackberry jam. The Sweet beets are delicious! They taste like they are marinated in thanksgiving ... that's the best description I have, clove and cinnamon like, a m My husband and I know we will be there once a week for our vegetables. read more

My family came to manhattan for a college visit and I decided to find something for the kids to do while they did a tour of K-State. I came across this pumpkin patch. I didn't know they weren't open to the public during the weekday. That time is reserved for field trips. Angela was still nice enough to let us still come. I love that they have a package that offers everything and includes a pumpkin. The area is so fun! They have so many things that the kids could do! From photo booths, sand box, kernel box, bouncers, and a huge slide! I also love how the maze to the pumpkin patch have a hard and easier option. Once at the pumpkin patch the pumpkins are already pulled off the vine which is perfect for little fingers getting pricked! The hay ride was cool! It went around the entire property. They grow a lot of good produce! The owners Richard and Angela and their family were very friendly and they offer a really cool pumpkin patch! I plan to make this a family tradition to drive the 2 hours to go here because this was the best compared to all the others I'd been to in KC! read more

I love Britt's. It's a family run farm store with a casual vibe that I love, and I love that kids run around with bare feet. Does it smell like real produce and fertilizer? Sure, this isn't a chain grocery store. It's a FARM. I have always gotten friendly service and good prices. The jarred preserves are out of this world. I have found the children's presence there delightful, barefoot or not. We will continue to enjoy shopping there and chatting with the kids. read more

Ok so I've read reviews on this place and figured I would give it a try myself. As we are pulling up i can see the kids with no shoes on playing in a dirt pile. Someone else had mentioned the kids with no shoes in a different review. Lol. Nothing against kids playing in dirt, so I go in. The place looked like they were going out of business. It smelled like death. Then I looked across the store and saw two babies each in their own car seat sleeping on the floor. I didn't see anyone working there and got the chills like some Texas chain saw massacre vibes and turned around to get back in my truck. Kinda creepy. Lol. read more

This Fall was our third year coming to Britts farm, and each year they never let us down. From the petting zoo, to the huge slides, to picking your own pumpkin..my hubby, & I love it just as much as our little one does. We all had a blast at Britt's Pumpkin Patch yesterday. We loved that there were so many fun things for older kids as well as younger children. The kids got to play with the animals, shot the potato cannon, played in a tractor tire, mastered an antique corn shucker, and made smores. They had a blast on the giant seesaw, the super-tall slide, the enormous bouncy pillows, the big rolling pipes, and the swings. And, of course, we all went for a hay rack ride, and we got to pick out some pumpkins. Our entire family had a great time out on the farm, and if we lived closer, I could see coming to their market store for fresh veggies, fruits, and meat. read more

Terrible customer service. This pumpkin patch is the worst in the Manhattan area. Corn maze was too small and not fun at all. The employees treat you like dirt and don't want you to be there. They were out of apple cider (one of the only reasons I came).I was yelled at for taking photos of my family. I came for a good time to celebrate my sons first birthday and left with one of the worst memories of all time. Britts farm is an overpriced disappoint to everyone. read more

When we expected a pumpkin patch we expected something a little larger than what we actually saw. They have a cute little market area where you can buy fresh veggies, pies, cakes, apple cider, etc. We did end up buying the apple cider and it was so delicious! I do think the price for the pumpkin patch and all was a little overpriced. Unfortunately the day we went too it was soooo hot. Will have to try again next year. read more

I took my family here for the pumpkin patch for the first time this year. My kids are under two so I wasn't expecting to have them participate a bunch. The activities were plentiful and all the older kids around seemed to be having a great time. I was disappointed with the pumpkin patch though. There were hardly any pumpkins to choose from and most of them were rotten. Otherwise it was okay and adorable. read more

We went to Britts based on their outstanding Facebook page and the picture they have posted of their fresh produce. Not sure if we went on a bad day or what... but the trees were very expensive and well picked through but that that didn't turn us away since I was very excited to see what their produce looked like. I went inside and was greeted by a very nice lady who was holding a little girl with no shoes or socks. Then we start looking for produce only to find that the apples were wrinkly from being too old and the rest of the produce were onions from elsewhere and sweet potatoes. There was a little boy with no shoes and food spilt on the ground and a to go container scattered. He picked up toys and started swinging at my kids and we immediately departed after that. I'm not sure what Kansas laws are for health codes on farms and produce but I will not return here. Very disappointed because I was WAYYYYY too excited to check this place out. read more
